29 One man army (2)

All the family heads were thinking about how strong this new weapon had to be in order to injure Leroux. But if the Lea family knew what it was and were not scared of it, it meant it didn't pose a real threat to them. If they could get a bit of it and use it as a weapon, they could contribute more to Kyus city and that would help them ascend positions in the city. Still, if the Lea family called themselves the strongest, they wouldn't argue with that. They would support it and even preach it.

Leroux face became serious, he had his guard up, but in that closed space where around 20 riflemen were waiting, he couldn't avoid a stray bullet. It wasn't aimed at him, it impacted the floor and a piece of shrapnell hit him. He had used his iron skin pill before to deflect the arrows, and he could deflect bullets with it too but he was way too arrogant to use it again even when knowing he could be killed if hit in the head or a vital organ.

"Okay kids, here I go. Try to survive, because from now on the death toll will start counting" as he finished talking he slammed his fists one against the others, creating a wave of dust around himself, the sound of the clash could be felt in everyones bones. Next to that, Leroux was there no more. He had dissapeared from the site, akin to Lufti and his speed, he had moved so fast, no one could react. He was really fast, but the family heads remembered Leon talk about it. Lufti was faster. How could they even compare speeds when they couldn't be seen at all?!

All the squads gathered their lowered morale and put their guard up, waiting for the strike to come. No matter how much they waited, nothing could be heard or seen. No one was attacked, no one could see the enemy and everyones eyes were dancing in circles trying to find this threat that was coming at them.

"This city elites are so incompetent..." as he spoke, the voice could be heard from all directions. Everyone was sure it was coming from somewhere else. Some soldiers started to yell south, while others said it was coming from the west.

Leroux didn't take long to reveal himself. From behind the heavy armored soldiers he roared and punched one of them in the back, throwing him all the way till he crashed against the building with riflemen, once more creating another cloud of dust. As they divised the attack was coming from behind them, the pointed their shields towards Leroux and made their swords fall down against him, showing discipline and experience. One of them was dead, but the emotions were supressed and actions were taken against the enemy.

With his hands Leroux stopped the sword strikes and twisting his elbow in a weird way he pushed them all away, making them slam against their partners shields. After the clang sound, as if it was a bell making the start of a fight, Leroux started to kick the shields. His strenght bent them as if they were foldable papers. Some shields flew with their owners, some on their own, while others flew with parts of their owners, carrying their limbs with them. Squating once more, and sweeping with his feet, he tumbled in the air 3 soldiers that still had their shields up, following with 3 kicks to the center of their mass, using the bodies of those 3 soldiers to push the ones behind them and making an entire section of around 30 people roll helplessly in the ground.

"Now this is how you fight!" said Leroux as he laughed. He was impressed by how composed this soldiers were and knew that cripling and killing some of them was bad for their plans but he had no choice but to do so. Yes, he was strong and could take them all down by himself, but he was in no way omnipotent enough to fight them unscathed. He was doing his best to control his strenght in order to injure the least amount of them. Even if a limb was lost, as long as that person was attended rapidly, with Leon golden leaves they could still reattach that. They were miraculous drugs like that, but were not unlimited.

Leroux shook his head and pushed those thoughts to the back of his head. He stood up and with his hands he pushed the shields away, making all the soldiers with no exception fall down to their butts.

"People with armor can't take my hits. I wonder how good others will fare against a kick or a punch in their heads" his remark sounded sadistic, but it was also a warning. Don't get hit in the head...

Instantly, all the soldiers dropped their weapons and raised their hands. Compete with the heavy armored soldiers? No way. Some of them could stop beast attacks with their shields and still be standing, but they couldn't handle a punch or a kick from a single young man. What were the odds? Fight for a family that would treat them as fodder? No way. I have a family, I have to survive this.

These thoughts invaded the other soldiers minds, it was fear, the kind that came at them in waves and never stopped. The kind that made their instincts yell at them 'I'll be killed!'.

Leroux let out a sigh and shook his head, looking high up in to the west and making eye contact with Leon. Leon nodded his head and Leroux took out a pouch from his belt, throwing it on the floor.

"Those that want to live, come forwards and grab your friends limbs, carry their bodies here and dispose of their armor. Hurry up if you want them to live! Show me you're still humans and will fight for humanity!"

The pouch gently tilted to the side and fell, a bunch of golden leaves spreading all over the ground.
