Ch 7 : First step in becoming a Queen

As the group turn around in panic, they find two glowing red light at a place not far away behind them. The creature is well hidden as if you don't see the glowing red eyes, no one will notice the big shadowy figure.

"Tilly, you lead everyone away from here. Amelie you are sticking with me.", Ivy give instructions as she grip her halberd and looks towards the shadow. After everyone is led away by Tilly, Ivy walks toward the smaller tiger and step onto it. Amelie looks at her and about to ask her what is she doing, she see black red flesh wrinkling and drilling into the tiger from Ivy's legs. At the astonished gaze of Amelie, all the flesh and blood of the tiger wrinkle and sucked inside Ivy.

The shadow cannot stand the provocation as it take a roar and sprint toward Ivy to which Ivy throw her halberd. After watching the halberd throw toward it, the tiger quickly stop in it's track and step aside from the original position as the halberd just gaze through it's head. Even before the tiger resume it's attack, Ivy quickly appear before it and thrust her fist inside the tiger mouth. Before the tiger comprehend the events, a huge flesh and blood exploded inside it's throat and to the stomach which burst and squeeze all of it's internal organs. After throwing her halberd to the tiger, Ivy focus all the devoured biomass inside her fist and release all of the content at once inside the tiger mouth. Amelie looks all of this while feeling admiration for Ivy.

Ivy just take a glance at Amelie before going to devour the two dead tigers. The tigers are really high rank creatures as only two of them make Ivy's upgraded biomass storage full, which would need hundreds of normal human. Ivy decided to take a looks at her claws transformation inside the evolution system. The claws are now fully unlocked but she only has 55% of biomass needed to evolve the claws. Ivy decided to allocated the 25% of biomass needed first and us the left over for other things. She still has 60% of biomass left after evolving the claws of which she use 50% to upgrade her healing factor one grade and 10% for emergency use. The tigers give her a warning as she didn't think there would be a high rank creatures appearing already. Before she unlock her attack methods she has to be careful as she doubt her halberd could pierce through creatures higher than rank 1 peak.

She decided to looks at defender system as killing 2 rank 1 peak creature should give her some points. After looking at her KS it becomes 1128 points. Although rank 1 peak creatures should give more points, as she is a rank 1 peak herself the kill stats is reduced so much. After looking through the defender store Ivy decide to buy the method of controlling her aura as buying the skill directly would needs tenfold points. The method itself cost her 1000 points and left with 128.

After Ivy got the information on aura manipulation technique, she turn towards Amelie and ask her 'nicely with a smile'.

"Amelie, you should see about my skill right? Do you want to know it."

Amelie who felt a cold behind her back look at Ivy and ask "Is it a question?"

"Amelie you know, I am not a human. The Ivy Ably everyone knows is long gone. She becomes me as I am combine from her and something else. Something entirely different from humans." said Ivy while changes her form into a prisoner whom she had eaten. "I can be anyone I consumed, but they are just imitations. But Ivy she is different as she is part of me, a part that can never be separated."

"Why are you telling me about all of this? You left me here with you on purpose didn't you?"

"Of course I have a 'request' for you. My true body is virus, so you should know what virus would do, aren't you, Amelie? I don't just need some mindless infected bodies, I want servants. Servants with their won wisdom and loyalty that will help me create a place inside Abyss. So I as a queen, invite you into my hive, what would you do, Amelie?"

"Do I have a choice. I just have a request Mistress."

"Of course I will fulfill it. Welcome to the hive, Amelie." said Ivy with a grin.

On the other hand the group lead by Tilly run away for some distance until they are tired. They have been intimidate by the huge tigers as they didn't even care for direction as they run. Only after they are tired they stop and vigilantly looks around the place. Even after they are away from the place they have been, the forest is still quiet as if all the creature are oblivious of the fight that takes place. It was as if they are hiding from something and keep away from the thing's territory. Although it was quiet the group still find some creature hiding inside the bushes and trees. It seems creatures without a good stealth skill like the tigers didn't even dare to move around the darkness.

The group discuss and first decided to rest and wait for Ivy and Amelie while checking their status. After asking one another about the points they earn, everyone other than the boy with fire ability and Tilly, got 200 points while the boy got 400 and Tilly got 600. It seems the small black tiger gives 2800 ~ 3200 points if they count Amelie. They wait for a while and they heard some footsteps coming from afar. It was Ivy and Amelie as expected, but everyone around felt something has change around them. They couldn't tell what has change but Tilly felt that Amelie becomes colder and more blood thirsty than when getting her ability for the first time.
