8 Stamina, Milk Can, and Goop

"Hmm so only 7 stamina left, maybe a short rest here will be good and maybe I can learn more about the system as well"

Lizzy looked around the beach shore and found a large circular milk can, just 10 ft away seemingly stuck on the sand but was pretty far from the water, she walked to towards it and first made sure there was nothing inhabiting it.

Her gaze focused on every part of the cans insides and was assured there was nothing in it, otherwise the system would've picked it up as well, she entered the can and laid on her belly inside.

"System do you like have some quests and stuff? you know like most video games"

"Host the system does indeed have tasks but the host is still too weak to unlock and finish them successfully"

"Am I really? youre not planning for me to hunt a lion aren't you? haha that'll be hilarious"

Lizzy sighed as she heard the systems response, her gaze pointed to the ground as she was trying to relax but the the system popped a window in front of her.

Lizzy's face paled and she immediately jumped to the upper portion of the can and stuck there, the scorpion had a delay on its response as its stinger hit only the sand, it withdrew the stinger and crawled out of the dry sand below.

Its eyes staring at lizzy as if she was prey, it crawled towards the cans walls where there were small holes which it used to climb, Lizzy saw this and because she didn't want to die again she shot two acid spits, one missed and the other grazed the scorpions stinger making it angry and climb faster.

Lizzy saw this and she dropped to the sand and ran out of the can, the scorpion followed suit and dropped just behind Lizzy as she ran and was able to cut her tail, Lizzy saw the tail and her now empty behind.

Lizzy was now angry for what the scorpion had done even though she knew lizard tails grow back, out of a fit of rage that eclipsed her fear, she fired a barrage of fantasy acid towards the scorpion, the scorpion had nowhere to go so it dug into the sand unfortunately for it, the acids arrived before it entered.

The scorpion was immobilized due to the acid melting its carapace and legs, it was soon followed by its rather gruesome death, with its carapace melting into goo.

"Uhm I don't wanna eat that"

"Host it may look disgusting but it offers a large amount of genodes and the reason for that is its combat capability"

"So you're telling me it is beneficial to eat this goop?"

Lizzy walked closer to the goo pile which was once a scorpion, she opened her quivering mouth and bit a small piece which she was then surprised.

"Why does this taste good?!"

The system was silent and didn't respond to Lizzy, Lizzy who didn't get an answer went and took large bites from the gooey scorpion, the taste to her was like salted chicken which she just went and enjoyed.

Lizzy rested and ate for half an hour, Lizzy felt energized and wanted to see if she recovered a large amount.
