10 Easy task and Community

All the windows within Lizzy's vision closed and a new window appeared with the words Daily Tasks and beside it were Main Tasks, within the same window was 5 rectangles with the words, easy, normal, hard, nightmare, and abyss respectively.

The latter 4 were grayed out along with the main task bar signifying that Lizzy was not yet eligible to partake on those tasks, Lizzy focused her vision on the easy daily task.

The human residence of the island has had rat problems within the subsequent years and they are having some trouble controlling the rodent infestation, help them with it, a panicked human is the easiest target.

Reward: 200 1st tier Genodes, Low tier Chest.

Time: This task has no time limit.

"Hey system are you gonna try and make me eat humans?"

"That is a natural thing for the system to do host, humans are the hosts worst enemy and they will attempt to capture or kill the host if given the chance"

"I'm not gonna do that, I don't even have a grudge against the residents"

The system went silent after the reply leaving Lizzy feeling conflicted, she knew the system was right but she didn't want to drag innocent people for her to gain power, she shook her head and placed these thoughts to the back of her head.

"Let's think about it later, let's finish the task first since it'll give me some stuff"

"Will the host take the task?"

"Yes, I will take the task"

"Host has accepted the easy task [RATS!]"

Lizzy went back to the spot of the rat hole and waited for the return of the mother rat, a few minutes passed and the mother returned carrying some food with it, it entered the hole and then kept on squeaking as if looking for its children.

Lizzy felt a bit guilty but still she needed to survive, she walked towards the hole and looked at it, she saw the mother rat digging the dirt and the walls looking for the baby rats.

"Sorry"

Lizzy went and shot two shots of fantasy acid at the rat, the rat noticed the spitting of the acid and wanted to escape, it quickly dug down the hole and was proficient at it, the acid landed on it butt and tail melting it with astonishing speed.

The rat blood spurted on the walls of the small hole, the rat was squeaking loudly as it lost strength from blood loss and began to twitch for a few seconds before entering its eternal slumber.

Lizzy went into the hole and looked at the result of what she had done, she didn't feel sorry for those she ate earlier but she felt something when she ate the baby rats and mother rat.

"Haa my emotions are still human but human emotions will only make it harder for me to survive the game of predator and prey in the wild"

Lizzy went and began to bite, rip and swallow the mother rats remains in large amounts, the system spammed her with notifications as she did.

"Ding! host has gained 4 Genode/s"

"Ding! host has gained 5 Genode/s"

"Ding! host has gained ... "

Lizzy finished eating after a few minutes, no bone was left after she finished eating the mother rat, all that was left were the blood stains that soaked the soil.

"Ding! Host has gained 10 Genode/s"

A tiny window appeared at the edge of Lizzy's vision and it detailed the progress of the task Lizzy was doing.

Lizzy exited the hole and sighed again before lifting her spirits.

"Lizzy this all for survival! even granny would do the same if she was in your position!"

After her short motivating moment, she went and walked into a bush disappearing into the jungle to find more rats.

2 hours of walking.

"Squeak! squeak!"

Lizzy heard a new squeak and was relieved she that she didn't need to exhaust her stamina just to find a rat hole, on the time that she was walking around she had asked the system to place her stamina at the top left corner of her vision, opposite to the task tab.

Lizzy once again followed the squeaky noise and was surprised on what she found, a rat community with 5 holes and 6 adult rats.

"I'm gonna die if I charge towards them"

Lizzy looked at her stamina and it was 23/100, she decided to rest a bit and hide on top of a tree with her gaze on the rat community.

"Hmm maybe I could ambush them one by one or make it rain acid on their community"

While Lizzy was mumbling to herself another figure had been eyeing the rats from the shadows, with its slitted eyes and forked tongue.
