1 Chapter 1: The Testing
On a cold and freezing night,I Florence Anthony has just made a scientific breakthrough...or so I thought?
"Laura! Laura wake up! I did it,I actually did it!"
I screamed while running to my fiancé,who is sleeping and waking her up from bed with my voice and me continuously shaking her body.
Laura woke up and turned her side lights on,looking at the alarm clock displaying the current time as 11:49 and then into my excited face with a tired and restless facial expression.
"Anthony,it's the middle of the night and you're still playing with those toys of yours?"
"No no! I'm sorry but I actually did it this time! It worked,come on you've got to see it!"
"Anthony this is the 12th time you've said that,almost every night you come running into our bedroom,waking me up and telling me it worked,I'm tired of this! When did that action you've repeated for so many times worked? None!"
"No...Laura I'm sorry but please just this time."
"Fine,if you ever ask something like this again I'm not going."
I brought Laura to my research lab full of science stuff,this is the year 2045,so most of these stuff are pretty complicated looking,I can't even comprehend some of them,I can only operate them.
My family were rich but they only care about making money,because of this I was often left with a baby sitter,they both died from a car crash when traveling for a business meeting,when it happened only a tinge of sadness got around to me.
Surprisingly,all of their money and inheritance went to me,the only child,apparently they had already written their last will to give all of their money to me with a note saying 'if we are not around anymore,raise our business,but of course it is your choice,we are sorry we neglected you when you were young and didn't raise you ourselves as it had actually supposed to be our purpose as a parent,use these money however you want,its sad we aren't able to see a grandchild of our own before we left,but we love you.

"Show me what you got." Laura said,hand on her hips looking at me.
"This is my newest model on the world simulation!"
"Uh huh...it's the same looking thing as last time."
"No! I've made some tweak with the system and now this device only needs 10 supercomputer to operate!"
"And how many supercomputer did it needed last time?"
"... 13."
"Ugh..Anthony,however rich your family is,you just can't play god! That's simply bending and evading the law of na-"
I cut her off on the next thing she was going to say and demonstrated my 'World Simulation' Device.
My World Simulation Device is a 3 meter wide metal device that looks like the bottom of a pedestal fan.it is a giant device that is used to send a projection of a three dimensional holographic display of a planet that you are able to interact with using the right equipment.
"See! See! Look! I speeded the time to a couple thousand years per second and the world is already changing based on the gravity,buoyancy,and laws I had set prior! And if I make the temperature colder,the world is gonna adapt to it! It's perfect!"
"Where are the animals?" Laura touched the world simulation holographic projection with the needed equipment which were 2 normal looking gloves with some thin metal compartment on the fingertips of the glove and some cables which were connected back into the world simulation device.
Closing in on some area searching for life in the vastness of the planet,it is at least twice the size of our lovely planet earth,we surprisingly had survived climate change and global warming,a lot of the Antarctica continent has melted thus raising the sea level by a lot,small islands were now gone and people who had lived on the beach had to move to a higher ground,the government of countless nations acted quickly on spreading the word of this and people began to panic,several rich tycoons invested in a couple of company that spreads awareness by posters,plant trees,help clean our land and oceans,etcetera.
"Yeah...those sorts of stuff...i can't really comprehend them right now,with ever changing climate and our ability to change the world rules and laws,evolution will always happen trying to adapt to their environment.I've tried them before and the whole system completely shuts down!"
"Anthony you're saying some really completely complicated stuff right now,I can't comprehend them all at once since I'm not a tech geek."
"This still counts as a fail by me thought,without life what is a worlds purpose,it can't sustain them to relentlessly evolve,I mean it's kinda a hard concept but I've seen some things on the internet like this,inferior but they have evolving creature simulation progress based on environment type of stuff right there so you might want to check it out."
"What! Seriously? There's stuff like that on the internet?" I bewilderedly screamed
"Well if you ever considered to stop being a hermit and go out more,maybe you'd know about it sooner,you literally haven't come out of the house for 1 and a half year,I'm worried about your health,you need to bask in the sun and get some sunlight in your skin."
I smiled,looking at Laura who has been supporting me since we were in college,her smile was still the brightest,we were both now 29 years old.
Laura works for some famous broadcasting channel company while I...I'm self employed.
Being self employed is not as bad as it sounds,you are your own boss and nobody orders you around like a pawn,I had sold my parents business and all of their assets,I was offered a really good price for it and since then,I became a walking bank.
I had checked the stuff Laura told me before and implemented some element of stuff I had found on the internet,I hadn't go outside of the house yet but I know,with these information available to me,I could probably make a whole universe.
