17 Revelation

"Mind your tongue, boy!" said a man with long, black hair and featureless white eyes.

'That's Hinata's father,' thought Naruto as he briefly glanced at the Hyuuga Clan Head; Hiashi Hyuuga.

"You dare ignore me, brat?" hissed Hiashi, activating his Byakugan.

"I don't answer to you, Hyuuga Head!" said Naruto icily as he applied his Chakra Pressure Technnique on everyone in the room. "Deactivate your Byakugan and stand down, or I will retaliate in self-defence!"

'When did this kid learn the Chakra Pressure Technique?' thought every Ninja in the room as shock ran through everyone's mind. 'And such an advanced form of it too! Just how much did he practice it?'

"You dare order me around?" hissed Hiashi angrily, withstanding the Chakra Pressure eminating from Naruto. "I'm the Hyuga Clan Head!"

'He truly deserves to be a Clan Head to be able to withstand my full-powered Chakra Pressure!' thought Naruto secretly. "Regardless of who you are, my value to the village far surpasses yours! Do you truly believe the Hokage will sit quietly while you threaten my safety in front of him?"

'This kid is cunning!' thought Danzõ in surprise. 'He's aware of his value as a Jinchuriki. But how?'

The Civilian Council had long passed out from Naruto's Chakra Pressure Technique, however, there was no Ninja in the room who was paying attention to them as every single gaze was fixed on Naruto. They had one thought running through their minds:

'This boy knows he's the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki!'

The Hokage was the only other Ninja who was having a blast. 'This, by far, is the best Council Meeting ever!'

"So, Hyuuga Head, do you truly wish to make things difficult for yourself?" asked Naruto in a mocking tone.

"Hiashi, stand down!" ordered the Hokage, noticing things were about to blow out of proportion. "You too, Naruto! You've completely knocked out the Civilian Council."

"You wished to see me, old man?" asked Naruto once more as if nothing had just happened.

'This boy is aggravating!' thought Hiashi.

'This kid is interesting,' thought Danzõ.

"Right, the reason I called for you, Naruto, is that the council has a problem with you being nominated for the Chunin Exam," said the Hokage, looking straight at Naruto. "They had already expressed their unwillingness for you to become a Genin."

"Is it all of them, or a select few?" asked Naruto for confirmation as he swept his gaze past Danzõ. He already had an idea on who was against him and who was not in the Council Room.

"Not everyone expressed their unwillingness for your progress," said the Hokage with a glint in his eyes. 'This might become more interesting.'

"Right, let me make a guess here," said Naruto, rubbing his chin. "The Civilian Council wants nothing more than to see me dead. Hiashi Hyuuga wants me as far away from him and his clan member as possible. I can understand where they're coming from since they are acting on ignorance and fear. The Aburame, Akimichi, Inuzuka, Nara and Yamanaka Clans are a bit more open-minded and have not yet shown any hostility towards me. The three elders over there, however, want nothing than to lock me up and use me as a deterrent against those who want to attack the village. Am I right so far?"

Everyone drew in a mouthful of cold air. Even the Hokage was greatly surprised at Naruto's bluntness. Nobody was expecting a kid who had only recently become a Genin to so fearlessly talk against the council members and point out their hostile feelings towards him. They were made speechless and were unsure on how to respond to him. They simply watched him and awaited for him to continue.

"That's quite a claim you're making, Naruto-kun," said the Hokage, finally breaking the silence.

"Not a claim, but the truth," said Naruto confidently.

"What makes you so confident, Naruto-kun?" asked Danzõ with a smile plastered on his face.

Naruto cringed upon seeing the smile. "That's one creepy smile you have, Danzõ. But to answer your question, it's one of the perks of being the Nin-Tails' Jinchuriki. It allows me to sense hostile emotions."

"So you really know ...," said Danzõ, his smile disappearing.

"It's not that difficult to figure out," said Naruto with a smirk. "Not since when pretty much the entire village is calling you a monster and makes any and every attempt to assault you. That goes for both the civilians and ninjas alike. You simply need to do some digging around."

"Since you're aware you're the Jinchuriki, you should understand clearly how dangerous the Nine-Tails can be, Naruto-kun," said Danzõ.

"There's only thing I do understand very clearly, Danzõ," said Naruto sternly. "Everything that this village has put me through since the day I was born has made my loyalty towards the village grow thinner and thinner. Don't force me to lose that last bit of loyalty I have left towards the village to disappear. My value as the sole Jinchuriki of Konoha and the contribution that I have made to the village in the form of those training manuals I recently handed over to the Hokage should be enough for you all to maintain my loyalty to the village. Because I will make it clear to all you big-shot honchos; once my loyalty to the village disappears, there's nothing that will keep me tied down to the village."

With that, Naruto turned around and walked out of the door and disappeared, leaving behind a room filled with stunned individuals.

His words were clear; push me anymore and I will run away! No questions asked!

***** Atop Hokage Stone *****

'Man, that was intense,' thought Naruto as he sat atop the Fourth Hokage's head on the Hokage Mountain.

After exciting the Hokage's office, Naruto went to Ichiraku's Ramen store and had a take-out to eat at the Hokage Mountain as he overlooked the village.

After eating until he was full, Naruto finally calmed down enough to think more clearly. He always knew of the village's hatred and distrust that had been directed at him was actually due to their fear of Kurama. Despite always trying to stay out of everyone's way, the older members of Konoha who remembered Kurama's attack on the village on the day he was born, did not allow Naruto have any peice of mind to live his life with comfort.

"Hey, kid, feeling lonely again?" asked Kurama in a surprisingly warm tone.

"How did you live all these years with the pain of loneliness?" asked Naruto as he glanced towards the clear blue sky.

"Memories of the old man helped a lot," replied Kurama in a nostalgic tone after a long while of silence.

"Old man?" asked Naruto curiously.

"Old man ... the man you all know as Sage of Six Paths ...," said Kurama slowly.

"You knew Sage of Six Paths?" asked Naruto, shock taking over.

"Of course!" said Kurama proudly as he laughed heartily. "He was the only human I ever looked up to! He was there when I was born and I laughed the most when in his presence! I also cried the most when I saw him die! Men like him are truly one of a kind!"

"Can you tell me more about him?" asked Naruto excitedly. "Sage of the Six Paths is the father of all Ninjas! I can't believe you were there when he was still alive!"

"Sure, I can tell you about him," replied Kurama, chuckling. "This is only know to us Tailed Beasts as there are hardly anyone else still alive from that time.

Everything started from when Old Man Sage of Six Path's mother, Kaguya Õtsutsuki, came to this world over a millenium ago with her clansmen in search of what is known as the God Tree. They wanted its fruit as it was of a great energy source. That energy is what is known today as Chakra.

That was long before the warring state periods where men fought each other for domiance; much like today. To end the warring period, Kaguya Õtsutsuki ate the Chakra Fruit from the God Tree and became the very first person to be endowed with Chakra.

As she was from the Õtsutsuki Clan, she naturally possessed the Byakuga and upon eating the Chakra Fruit, she also awakened the Rinne-Sharingan; a combination of Sharingan and Rinnegan."

"Whoa! That's overpowered!" exclaimed Naruto in shock. "Possessing just one occular technique makes you overpowered, but having three is too much!"

"That is just how strong she was," said Kurama, understanding Naruto's shock. "At her peak, even twenty Kage Level Ninjas would look like infants in front of her."

"She was that strong?" gasped Naruto.

"That was without using any of her occular powers, so you can only imagine how powerful sure was with them," replied Kurama with a growl. "Anyway, she soon had two sons named Hagoromo and Hamura. Hamura went on to become the ancestor of the Hyuga Clan as he had inherited the Byakugan from Kaguya, while Hagoromo went on to become the Sage of the Six Path and the ancestor of the Uchiha Clan through his eldest son Indra. The Senju and Uzumaki are the descendants of Old Man Hagoromo through his younger son, Asura. Old Man Hagoromoro's Yin and Yang powers were inherited by Indra and Asura respectively where the Uchiha gained the Sharingan and the Senju and Uzumaki gained the physical strength."

"Hold on!" shouted Naruto, sitting upright. "What about the Rinnegan? I haven't come across any records of the Rinnegan. What kind of occular powers does it have?"

"I don't know too much about it," admitted Kurama in an embarrassed tone. "However, I do know that it's much more powerful than the Byakugan or Sharingan put together and has power over six different paths."

"Since you don't know anyone that have awakened the Rinnegan, does that mean that you need to be the descendant of both Indra and Asura in order to awaken it?" asked Naruto, getting excited.

"It would appear that way, yes," replied Kurama.

"Then that means that I might awaken it," said Naruto, grinning from ear to ear.

"Since you're both an Uchiha and Uzumaki, yes, there's a chance," said Kurama. "However, don't lose yourself. Take things one step at a time."

"Awesome!" said Naruto, starry eyed. "Anyway, please continue with the story. What happened then?"

"Things were progressing peacefully until Kaguya had a major conflict with her two sons," continued Kurama. "Kaguya guard together with the God Tree and the Ten Tails was born in order to challenge Hagoromo and Hamura. They fought for a long period of time and finally Hagoromo and Hamura defeated Kaguya and sealed her. The Chakra of the Ten Tails was extracted from its body and sealed it in Hagoromo's body, making him the very first Jinchuriki. The body of the Ten Tails was then sealed within the moon.

Hamura, with the rest of Kaguya's clan menmbers went on to live on the moon where the Ten Tails' body and Kaguya were sealed I order to watch over them. Hagoromo stayed behind to teach the rest of the humans how to use Chakra.

Years later, Hagoromo became old and was about to die separated the Ten Tails' Chakra from his body and separated it into nine smaller tailed beasts; going from One Tail all the way to me, the Nine Tails.

Hagoromo, since he had the Rinnegan, he came to master the six paths the eyes offered, he became known as the Sage of Six Paths. He was a great man possessing great wisdom and I miss him dearly. He was my father and the very first human I had interacted. In all these centuries I have been alive, I have yet to come across another like him."

"I truly wish I could have met him," said Naruto longingly. "He sounds too amazing not to. Plus, he was the very first Jinchuriki of a tailed beast way more powerful than even you, Kurama!"

'That's right kid,' thought Kurama. 'He was truly amazing. I may have said otherwise, but you actually remind me of him. Why do you think I warmed up to you."
