23 Gathering of Genins (Part 2)

As soon as they both reached the group, Lee reached upto Sasuke and stood in front of him. "Are you Sasuke Uchiha?"

"I am," replied Sasuke arrogantly.

"Oh, this is going to be good," said Naruto, smiling excitedly.

"What do you mean?" asked Hinata.

"Sasuke's about to get his ass whooped," replied Naruto.

"Why do you sound so excited over that?" asked Hinata, tilting her head.

"Sasuke's the most arrogant guy I've ever met in my life," answered Naruto. "It'll help him getting beat up once in a while."

"I wish to fight you," said Lee in a serious tone.

"You are a fool to fight me knowing who I am," said Sasuke arrogantly.

"I'm so going enjoy this," said Naruto gleefully. "I'll never let this go. Hmm? Hinata, can you check Lee's Chakra level?"

"Sure," replied Hinata, activating her Byakugan. As soon as doing so, she let out a small gasp. "He barely has any Chakra. His Chakra Pathways are too small."

"I thought as much," mumbled Naruto. "His Taijutsu must be quite excellent considering he has so little Chakra for any Illusions or other Techniques."

With Sasuke facing of Lee, he suddenly jumped and attempted a drop kick. Lee simply disappeared just when Sasuke's leg was inches away from connecting with his head. Sasuke spun around to see Lee was already in the air, ready to deliver a spinning kick. Sasuke quickly dodged the first spinning kick, however, he failed the second one.

The second spinning kick landed heavily on his face and sent him crashing into the wall.

'Damn! It felt like I was hit by a brick,' thought Sasuke grimly. 'If it was last week, he'd have knocked me out.'

"You're tougher than I thought," said Lee, looking at Sasuke getting up. "You managed to survive that."

"You're pretty tough yourself," said Sasuke, wiping the blood from a busted lip. "It gives me the chance to use this."

"Hmm? He's managed to activate his Sharingan?" muttered Naruto in surprise. "Two tomoes at that. I see ... the pressure and the training must have pushed him to awaken and mature his Sharingan at a faster pace during this past week."

Sasuke stared down at Lee with his Sharingan blazing. "With these eyes of mine, you're toast."

"So that's the Sharingan," muttered Lee.

Sasuke ran towards Lee once more, ready to launch another attack. However, Lee easily bypassed his defences and aimed a hard kick at Sasuke's chin. Sasuke was sent flying up and fell heavily on the ground.

This exchange continued multiple times, however, the exchange was the exact same as any other; Lee dominating Sasuke at every single turn. Not long after, Sasuke was lying on the ground, bruised black and blue.

"I expected more from you, Sasuke Uchiha," said Lee, his voice filled with disappointment. "What a waste of time!"

"Ouch! That's gotta sting," said Naruto, smiling.

"What happened there?" asked Sakura, her face filled with confusion. "Sasuke-kun should have won. He even had his Sharingan activated."

"Not necessarily," said Naruto. "Broody's Sharingan may have helped him track Lee's movements, but his physical body was not strong or fast enough to respond in time to Lee's speed. Well, this is a good lesson for Sasuke as well. Arrogance without any backing is simply hot air. Plus, he seems to be relying too much on his Bloodline Ability. He should have noticed from the first round that he's not strong enough for Lee."

"He should have realised that having a strong eye technique isn't everything," said Hinata. "You need to train your body to be able to handle the stress of the technique. I'm glad now that I trained so hard with you, Naruto-kun."

"Fight's over now, we need to go inside the room now," declared Naruto loudly.

Upon seeing that the show is over now, everything started entering the examination room. As soon as Naruto stepped inside, he was blasted with a heavy amount of killing intent. However, this was nothing compared to the killing intent of Kurama Naruto had been exposed to. He smirked widely as he scoffed at the puny killing intent the Genins of the other villages had been releasing.

The same could not be said to the other Genins of Konoha as this was the first time they had been exposed to such a dense killing intent. Cold sweat was trickling down their spines as their knees started shaking.

"Hahahahahaha!" laughed Naruto loudly. "This room is the best I've been to since facing Zabuza!"

"Would you keep it down already," said a male voice. "Everyone's nervous as it is without your laughter."

Everyone turned around to see a young man with circular glasses. He had onyx eyes and ash-grey hair that was kept in a ponytail.

"Hmm? You smell fishy," said Naruto, squinting his eyes as he stared at the young man.

"Who are you?" asked Kiba.

"Kabuto Yakushi," said the young man. "You guys need to be careful. By the looks of things, you lot must be rookies. So how about some info sharing?"

"What kind of info?" asked Naruto, instantly getting serious.

"Info on anyone in this room," said Kabuto, fishing out a deck of cards from his pouch. "These are Chakra cards and responds only to my Chakra signature to reveal the information stored in them. As you can see, every village apart from the Hidden Mist Village is here since they're in a civil war. I'm actually surprised that the Hidden Rock Village is here considering how much they hate the Hidden Leaf."

Naruto's suspicions on Kabuto was flaring sky high. How was it possible for a Ninja to gather Intel on every single Ninja of all the Hidden Villages without an established spy network?

"I want to know about Gaara of the Desert," said Naruto.

"I want to know about Rock Lee," said the bruised Sasuke.

"Let's start off with Gaara of the Desert," said Kabuto, pulling out a card from the deck of cards. Moments later, lines started appearing. "He's the son of the Kazekage. Teammates consists of his siblings, Temari and Kankuro. Their Jonin instructor is known as Baki. Skills unknown. Completed missions; 10 D-Ranks, 15 C-Ranks, 1 B-Rank. All missions completed without even a scratch.

Now, Rock Lee. A year older than you guys. Teammates are Tenten and Neiji Hyuuga. Missions competed; 20 D-Ranks and 11 C-Ranks. Jonin instructor is known as Hidden Leaf's Green Beast, Maito Gai. Over the last year, his Taijutsu skills have skyrocketed. His other skills, however, are pretty much non-existent."

"I want info on Naruto Uzumaki," said a cold voice. Everyone turned around to see Gaara standing beside them. Even Yugito was standing close by, listening intently.

"Right," said Kabuto, taking out another card. "Naruto Uzumaki. Teammates are Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. Completed missions; 80 D-Ranks, 45 C-Ranks and 1 B-Rank. Suspected to possess Jonin Level skills in self created Taijutsu, Kenjutsu and Ninjutsu. It is also suspected that he is in the midst of creating an S-Rank Jutsu. Confirmation is required.

What the hell is up with you? Is everyone in Hidden Leaf like y-?"

Before Kabuto was able to even finish his sentence, Naruto had grabbed his throat and slammed him against the wall, almost crushing his voicebox.

"For you to gather such detailed information on members of other Villages, including me without even noticing it, you sure have a decent spy network," growled Naruto dangerously. "I'm sure the Hokage will love extracting the information out of you! Or maybe I should do it myself?"

"SILENCE! EVERYONE SIT DOWN! EXAM'S ABOUT TO BEGIN!" screamed a tall muscular man with a scar running down his face.

"Ah, that must be Ibiki from the interrogation team," said Naruto with a smirk. "I met him with the Hokage once. Let's go, Kabuto. I'll hand you over to him."

Naruto dragged a struggling Kabuto on the floor, still tightly clutching from his throat. As much as Kabuto loved to struggle free from Naruto's iron grip, it was all in vain. The more he struggles, the stronger Naruto's grip became. By the time Naruro reached Ibiki, Kabuto's face had long turned purple.

"What's the meaning of this, kid?" asked Ibiki as he narrowed his eyes.

"This punk is most likely a spy with a large spy network in what seems like almost every Hidden Villages," proclaimed Naruto boldly. "He might prove useful."

"What are you basing it on?" asked Ibiki, narrowing his eyes. He remembered how highly the Hokage had spoken about this blonde kid. He knew better that to simply dismiss him. Besides, he had made that humoungous contributions.

"He has highly classified information on me that very few people in the village knows," replied Naruto coldly. "Before you ask, the reason I'm handing him over to you despite knowing there are spies in the village is because I already know enough about you to know you're not one of the spies. It's best if you take him personally in case he escapes. I've sealed his Chakra so he can't use it for the time being. You've got a minimum of a half-hour window in the event he's able to undo the seal."

"Right, well done for your hard work," said Ibiki, taking over the capture of Kabuto. 'This kid really does know Sealing Techniques. He's quite the shocker.'

Ibiki disappeared very swiftly with Kabuto. As soon as he disappeared, all eyes turned to Naruto and looked at him with mixed feelings in their eyes. Some had precaution, envy, shock, and a few even had fear mixed in too. Of course, only someone like Gaara would stare at him with murderous eyes. He appeared like he could not wait to pounce at Naruto and spill his blood.

Naruto leisourly walked back to where the Hidden Leaf rookies were all standing, looking at him as if he was some sort of a monster. Of course, only Hinata had deep rooted admiration welling up in her heart.

'It seems like he's grown even stronger since we became Genins,' thought Hinata.

'He was so fast that I could not even follow his movements,' thought Neiji, clutching his fists tightly. 'All this time I thought he was just a loser.'

'Just how big of a gap is there between us?' asked Sasuke in his mind, feeling deeply frustrated. 'I have to train even harder.'

"It seems like the report card was spot on about you, Naruto-kun," said Yugito. "I'm looking forward to facing against you in the exam."

"Let's not face one another so soon," replied Naruto, his smirk growing wider. "We need to save each other for the finals."

"Naruto-kun! Are you really at Jonin Level in Taijutsu?" asked Rock Lee excitedly. It was rare for him to meet someone who was highly skilled in his field of specialty.

'Sigh ... since the cat's out of the bag now, might as well admit to it,' thought Naruto as he sighed internally. "Yes, I am. Wanna have a Taijutsu only match with me?"

"It would be an honour to have a youthful match with such a youthful opponent!" exclaimed Rock Lee loudly, puffing out his chest. "I'm already looking forward to it!"

"Let's do our best to meet in the finals," said Naruto, as he turned to face the Genins from other villages. "Alright, you bunch of wannabe Ninjas! My name is Naruto Uzumaki! I'm going to be kicking every single one of your ass! Believe it! Hahahahahahaha!"

"Oh great! You just made an enemy out of everyone in the room," complained the lazy Shikamaru. "What's wrong with you?"

"Hahahaha! You sure know how to have a good time, Naruto," said Fuu as she laughed her head off. "I wasn't wrong to befriend you."

"Hahaha, us Jinchurikis need to stick together," said Naruto. "Of course, that crazy Tanuki needs to be beaten down a few levels first before he becomes bearable."

"Yeah, he's one crazy dude," added Yugito with a smile. "By the way, Naruto, are you really working on a S-Rank Jutsu even though you're a Genin?"

"Secret," said Naruto, placing a finger on his lips. "Ninjas aren't supposed to reveal their secrets, remember?"

"Now I'm looking forward to our match even more," said Yugito, her smile growing even more.
