3 Reading about Chakra
(A/N: So... You can ignore this chapter if you want as it is a basic guide to chakra which I am using to help Ravid learn about chakra. So if you want to find out more about chakra and stuff, have a read.)

Hitori's eyes slowly opened as he woke up from his sweet sleep. He saw that he was in a strange room in a white bed with brown walls.
'How did I end up here?' he asked himself.
He slowly got up and as he did so, Chiyo walked in the room.
Seeing that he was now awake, she smiled, "Did you have a good sleep?"
"Yes, thank you," he replied with a bright smile, "How long did I sleep?"
"About an hour," she replied.
"Why did you take me here?" he asked.
"Do you want to have parents?" Chiyo asked with an expectant smile.
"Huh? Are you saying?"
"Yep. I want to adopt you. Although, I will take you as my grandchild and not as a son," Chiyo replied, "So, what do you sa-"
Before she could finish her words, Hitori immediately ran into her arms and hugged her tightly, "I accept! Please adopt me, aunty Chiyo!"
"Now now, Hitori. If you accept then would have to call me grandma," she spoke with a smile on her face as she saw the smile and tears of joy that were pouring out like a waterfall on Hitori's face.
He had always wanted to feel like he had an actual family, his past life, he was not treated very well and this life was no better. Hearing that someone wanted to adopt him, made him cry out tears of joy!
Finally! A home.
"Thank you so much, grandma," Hitori spoke with a smile as he tried to stop his tears.
"Now now, I'll let you meet your older brother," Chiyo spoke warmly as he stroked his hair and took him to the living room where a certain red-haired boy was playing with a puppet. The puppet was about the boy's height.
Hearing them, Sasori immediately turned around and lifelessly asked, "Why is he here again?"
"This is Sasori, my grandson," Chiyo spoke, "Sasori, from today forth, this will be your little brother, Hitori Kodokuna."
Hitori then walked to Sasori and stared at him intently while the latter did the same. He then bowed to Sasori and spoke, "Please take care of me from now on oniisan!"
Hearing this, Sasori's face displayed a small minute change as his eyes suddenly shook with a sudden kindness as he brought out his hand and placed it on Hitori's head, he seemed to be enjoying it for a moment before speaking with the same lifeless tone, "Okay."
His short subtle change in his eyes was seen by Chiyo who suddenly smiled as her heart seemed to truly be happy.
Sasori lost his parents at an early age during the war and he became an orphan. Chiyo then took responsibility and raised him and even taught him puppetry. He even formed his first puppets in the image of his parents but when he found out that they did not provide him with the same apparently love, he became more and more lifeless and emotionless. Even going to the point where he stated that if she herself had died, he would not feel anything.
But in that small moment, his eyes suddenly seemed to temporarily spark with life. There's hope. She thought.
"Are you making that puppet move?" Hitori asked curiously as he saw Sasori's fingers move as the puppet also did.
"Yep," he answered plainly in a cold tone as he made the puppet move towards Hitori and spinning around him.
Seeing the puppet do so, Hitori began playing with it as he admired, "Your so good at doing it, oniisan."
Hearing this, Hitori revealed a vague smile as he asked, "Do you want to learn how to do it?"
His's eyes suddenly sparkled as he asked in wonder, "I can learn to do that?"
Sasori was taken aback, he did not expect Hitori to suddenly agree like that, he panicked and looked towards Chiyo and said, "Ask grandma about chakra. She will tell y-"
Chiyo immediately cut in, "I need to go and visit my brother. Hitori, Sasori will teach you about chakra."
"Oh... Really?" Hitori made a sad expression.
"Yes, I'll come back in time to make dinner for you guys so have fun until then," she spoke as she left the house.
"Will you really teach me, oniisan?" Hitori asked as he stared at the puppet in admiration.
"Sigh... fine," Sasori reluctantly agreed as his eyes coldly looked at him.
"What are we going to do start with?" he excitedly asked, not at all affected by his brother's cold gaze.
Sasori did not answer and simply pointed towards a large bookshelf. He said, "Go and read all the books on the top shelf first. Then I'll teach you."
Hitori showed a somewhat disappointed expression but he then resolutely turned and walked to the bookshelf and climbed his way up as he was too short to reach the top. But as he got to the top, the bookshelf began leaning and the back legs of the bookshelf were lifted off the floor as it began to tilt.
Uh oh...
"Oniisan, help!" he screamed as he saw that the shelf was going to fall down with him. Incased in fear, he closed his eyes as he prepared for the overwhelming weight of the shelf to fall, probably breaking something in the process.
But it did not come. He did not hit the floor...
Eh?
He opened slowly opened his eyes and saw that the puppet that Sasori had been playing with had moved just in time to stop the shelf from falling as it knelt right in front of him, holding back the falling shelf as all the books fell down. It then stood up, pushing the shelf back on its four legs and it began picking up all the books and placed them back on the shelf, except the books on the top shelf.
"Arigato, oniisan," Hitori spoke with admiration as his will to learn controlling puppets grew even stronger.
"Hehe," Sasori gave a silent laugh as he saw how pitiful he was. 'How pitiful,' Sasori thought but at the same time, his mind subconsciously flashed back to his childhood and he remembered when he was once in Ravid's situation as a hopeless orphan.
Hitori quickly began to open the book and began to read them. They were all about Chakra.
(A/N: Okay may I just add that all these descriptions are just for the reader's knowledge and that the books that Hitori is reading were not really this. I just thought you guys could use this as extra knowledge. Thanks for listening to my sorry excuse :) Peace!)
The first book was about the history of Chakra:
Many many years ago, on Earth, humans didn't have chakra. It was until Hamura and Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki were born with it, which was a result of their mother Kaguya eating their planet's chakra fruit from the God Tree, that Chakra began to spread throughout the Earth. Hagoromo spread chakra to others through a practice called ninshū, intending to create peace by using the chakra to connect people's spiritual energy so that they would understand one another without even talking. However, the people did not use chakra in the way Hagoromo hoped and they instead used it to connect their inner spiritual and physical energies. They kneaded their inner chakra to amplify and weaponise it, creating what is now known as ninjutsu.
The second book was about the nature of Chakra:
Chakra is essential to even the most basic jutsu. Through various methods, the most common of which is hand seals, chakra can be controlled and manipulated to create an effect that would not be possible otherwise, such as walking on water, exhaling fire, or creating illusions. Chakra is ordinarily not visible to the unaided eye unless it is highly concentrated or manifested in large amounts. This is rarely seen due to the restrictions of eight specific tenketsu known as the Eight Gates, which limit the amount of chakra an individual can release at a single given time.
Since being spread by Hagoromo, the Sage of Six Paths, chakra has become a form of life energy that all individuals produce to some degree; those who run out of chakra will die.
Produced within and manipulated by organs such as the heart, the energy circulates throughout the body in a network called the "Chakra Pathway System." Groups such as shinobi have learned to generate more chakra and release it outside their bodies through pressure points called tenketsu in order to perform jutsu.
Chakra is created when two more primal energies are moulded together. Physical energy is collected from each of the body's cells and can be increased through training, stimulants, and exercise. Spiritual energy is derived from the mind's consciousness and can be increased through studying, meditation, and experience. These two energies becoming more powerful will in turn make the created chakra more powerful. Therefore, practising a technique repeatedly will build up experience, increasing one's spiritual energy, and thus allowing more chakra to be created. As a result, the ninja is able to do that same technique with more power. This same cycle applies for physical energy, except the ninja needs to increase their endurance instead.
At any given time, a ninja will have a "maximum" amount of chakra that they can form and use before it runs out and they need to rest to replenish it. With practice, this maximum can be increased, but to a certain extent as they are limited to the quantity and strength of chakra that their genetics grants them. If a body is given far more chakra than it is able to handle, then the body would potentially be killed by the overwhelming chakra.
The third book talked about Chakra signatures:
Each person's chakra is different and as such gives off a unique chakra signature, which sensor type ninja are able to detect. Chakra signatures are passed genetically, allowing a person's clan to be identified by their chakra; over time, entire populations can have perceptibly different chakra. One's chakra signature can be altered by absorbing DNA from multiple people, mixing various chakra signatures together to become a whole new one.
While practically all types of jutsu require chakra to be performed, taijutsu does not; stamina is all that is needed. While the ninja still needs a set amount of chakra to live, regular taijutsu doesn't require any active moulding or manipulation of chakra, with few exceptions. A standard attack like a punch or kick falls into this technique category.
The fourth book was about Chakra Control:
Because chakra takes time and a great deal of training to gradually build up, the key to its use is not actually having large amounts of chakra but instead being able to sufficiently control and conserve it. This is called chakra control. In order to have good chakra control, a ninja should only mould as much chakra as they need to perform a given ability. If they mould more chakra than is needed, the excess chakra is wasted and they will tire out faster from its loss. If they don't mould enough chakra, a technique will not be performed effectively, if at all, likely creating problems in a combat situation. Because chakra consists in part of spiritual energy, the user is more easily able to mould the correct amount of chakra by remaining calm and focused.
General training methods for improving one's moulding and manipulation of chakra are the Leaf Concentration, Tree Climbing, and Water Surface Walking exercises. A good way to build up chakra in the body is to spin it into a tight spiral. Hand seals are often used to manipulate chakra more easily, allowing shinobi to execute their techniques faster and more effectively. Shinobi who are extremely skilled at chakra control often specialise in genjutsu or become medical-nin.
The final book was about the types of Chakra known to date:
Tailed Beast Chakra
The tailed beasts, biju, are the nine titanic living forms of chakra created by the Sage of Six Paths out of the chakra from the Ten-Tails. They are differentiated by the number of tails they have, ranging from one to nine. A tailed beast's chakra is coloured red.
Senjutsu Chakra
Senjutsu are a specialised field of jutsu that involve the use of natural energy. Senjutsu practitioners, known as sages, learn to draw natural energy inside their bodies, blending it with their own chakra to create senjutsu chakra. This chakra adds a new dimension of power to the user's techniques, while also allowing for the use of techniques that would not otherwise be possible.
