164 There's Really Nothing Quite Like The Moment Before A Fight To Really Get You Nervous

Gadiel

June 3, 6:44 pm, Paris, France

Gadiel didn't really have many expectations of the Eiffel Tower.

The rain was pouring now, and with the wind blowing strongly, there was no one besides the heroes and the soldiers to take in the majesty of the tower. In all honesty, before coming to Paris, Gadiel had thought the Eiffel Tpwer was a little cheesy, and that it wouldn't really be that impressive or anything. Yet, as he approached the large structure, he couldn't help but feel somewhat...impressed.

Gadiel's first impression was that the tower was strong. Sturdy. Strangely, it seemed to grow from the concrete like a metal tree. A modern construct with an ancient feel, a weird reflection of humanity's place on this planet.

"Are you really waxing lyrical about the f****** Eiffel Tower right now?" Tarik thought incredulously.

"First off, yes," Gadiel thought back. "Second off, where did you learn the phrase 'waxing lyrical?'"
