For a moment, Gadiel forgot that there were an army of puppets coming after them, that Ai was probably on her way, and that his parents definitely hated who he was. That one, slightly mischievous, genuine smile was enough to wipe all that away for now. Relief flooded through his body, to the point where there were tears in his eyes.

Tarik was here. He was here for him.

That was enough.

He immediately leaped to his feet, and pulled Tarik into a kiss. Tarik immediately kissed him back.

A rush of feelings and sensations blossomed inside Gadiel. Tarik was warm, and soft, and it felt like he was flying. He could feel himself getting lost in Tarik, and Tarik getting lost in him, coming together in passionate harmony.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Two puppets fell to the floor, their knees no longer able to support their weight.
