"We need to talk," said Gadiel seriously.

Tarik didn't want to talk. Tarik didn't think they needed to talk, not really. Tarik thought that all that needed to happen was for Gadiel to apologize, and everything could go back to normal.

Apologize for what? Gadiel should already know.

"We have a mission," said Tarik flatly. "We can do this after."

"We have time," said Gadiel. "The elevator is broken, after all."

Tarik sighed softly, annoyed.

Yesterday they had searched the house for any sort of lead but had found absolutely nothing. No leads, no clues...the house was devoid of any sort of information about the person living in it. At the time, they had thought it was just abandoned, but that hadn't sat right with Gadiel.

"This guy is clearly some kind of J*ker or Ri*dler wannabe," he had argued. "He would have left some kind of clue."
