178 Infiltration and Evolution

The office was busy, as usual.

Police officers and investigators walked around, talking to each other and following leads. Jason and his team had temporarily transformed one of the conference rooms at the police precinct into their war room. People were coming up to Jason, informing him about the process on the computer, and their tracking of the five suspects.

Jason wasn't paying much attention to them though. He sat at the head of the conference desk, drumming his fingers on the cheap wood while staring off into the distance, his new flip phone sat beside him on his desk. The people around him already knew not to disturb him when he was like this; it meant he was coming up with a plan.

At this moment however, he wasn't planning anything. Well, he wasn't planning anything concrete.

He was planning revenge.
