276 Human (Part Three)

August 5, 12:00 pm, Somewhere In The Middle Of the Desert, Taklamakan Desert

The sun beat down against the shifting desert sands, vultures flying overhead. All was silent, save for the sound of the wind, blowing against the endless dunes, urging it to swallow more land, cover more earth.

At a certain place, two simple graves sat side by side. The gravestone was nothing but a flat rock, without even their names written on it. There were some old, withered flowers on the graves, untouched by the wind, nor the sand. The wind didn't seem to affect this area, shifting around it in a perfect circle, as if it were protected by magic. Which of course, it was.

Suddenly, a girl appeared between the graves, holding two bouquets of flowers. She smiled at the stones as if they were old friends, ignoring the sands shifting around her.
