Definition: clever or skillful in using the hands or minds.

My example:

Jhon and Fil met after a tiring work day. It was quite awkward as they weren't really friends.

Jhon tried to break the silence by asking about an event he shouldn't have known about. He started, "So, I heard you were with Sarah and her brother last night." Fil looked at Jhon with a face of surprise. "How were they?"

Fil, still processing how Jhon found out about their small meet up, answered with, "Adroit."

Now it was Jhon's turn being baffled.
