2 Chapter 1

Alice opened her eyes… she was in wonderland… at the queen of hearts palace… was she in the ballroom, and how did she get back? "Oh. Alice. I'm so glad your back." Said a familiar voice behind her "Chesire!" She yelled as she turned around but when she saw the man her face wrenched in confusion. Behind her was a tall man in dark purple with ears and a tail. "Where is my chess?!?" said Alice, sad and angered "Oh! Like my makeover?" he grinned. That grin was always the same. "Chess! It's you! Oh my, how you've changed!" Alice smiled. She suddenly noticed many people laying around her, including friends, as did Chess. He disappeared in a cloud of purple dust, then reappeared kneeling beside a girl in a blue plaid dress and pigtails. She had a basket. Beside her, a shorter man with black hair and dog ears snuggled against her arm.

Dorothy opened her eyes and was very confused. A huge chandelier hung directly above her. I'm not in Oz anymore…Dorothy's thought was cut off by a man with black hair and green eyes staring at her. "AH! I'm very sorry sir… could you tell me where I am?" Dorothy said politely as she felt as if someone else was staring at her. She turned and had the urge to reach her arm out and it was blocked by an invisible force. In a purple mist, a man showed up will ears and a tail… he looked like a cat, but that was silly she thought. She jolted out of her thoughts when she realized she was pushing his face in a very distorted way. A girl behind her laughed. "STOP IT ALICE!!!" The cat boy blushed, but Alice had n't noticed. The strange green-eyed boy was still staring at her. Those eyes… she knew them. The eyes reminded her of Toto as memory jogged back into the back of her mind. She needed to find Toto! She yelled his name and as if an answer he replied. " Yes, Dorothy? WAIT… I CAN TALK NOW?!?" the man shouted. "Sir, may I ask your name?" Dorothy asked very confused by all of this. " Dorothy! It's me, Toto!"

Somehow Dorothy knew it was him, somehow she didn't object. She felt strange and felt like she could believe anything. Toto pounced on her and they rolled around wrestling to beat each other laughing. The girl called Alice was giggling as Cheshire wrapped his tail around her, tickling her neck jokingly, but Alice grabbed his tail and pulled it playfully, making him yell. The four people were laughing together, not questioning anything. Somehow not curious of the smoke now fogging the ballroom.

Alice opened her eyes. Her memory was foggy, and she bearly remembered how she got where she was. She was snuggled with Cheshire on the hard floor because somehow it got awfully cold. She hadn't even noticed the other two people playing with them last night. Alice wondered why she felt so out of her senses last night. She carefully got up, trying not to wake chess, and went to wake the other two. "Hello, I'm Alice, And them man, um, the man cat is chesire. He was a cat but now is a man! Isn't it marvelous! Anyhow, whom might you be?"

Dorothy's mind was racing, and she tried to remember what was happening. She at Toto and was startled for a moment but then she remembered his exchange with her. "I'm Dorthey and this dog man are Toto" Dorothy giggled. "Is this place Oz? Maybe Part of Quadling country?" Dorothy looked at Toto to try to confirm but he just shrugged.

"I'm very sorry miss, but I have not the slightest clue of what your talking about." Alice said calmly. "DORTHEY! I can't belive it! Look at me! I'm a man!" A strange man with ears and a tail like the others was jumping up and down in front of dorthoy. "Luke, is that you?" dorthey asked. "I was a lion and now im a man…" Luke stoped what he was doing and glared at chess. His eyes met mine for a second. He puffed out his chest and walked over to chess. "Hello, strange man, would you back away from this girl please. She clearly needs a better protector than you!" Luke said courageously. " We'll I think Chess is a great protector." Alice said and grabed his arm. She was alittle frightened of the mans confidence.
