11 Kinda Frustrated

Laras descended the stairs in a hurry. A little run for fear if Ratih appears suddenly. Also a little hope if the universe made her fall from this ladder. Her head hit the floor, then she developed amnesia. So that she can start his life from scratch. Free, without the burden of cloudy thoughts that often kill her.

With occasional tears still dripping, Laras drove her car at high speed. Again, she hoped that the universe would get her involved in a series of accidents that would make her lose the damn fetus that is now in her womb. Or if Laras doesn't deserve to be happy, can she just ask to die? Following her parents who have calmed down in heaven there?

Unfortunately, even though Laras hit a meatball cart, she did not suffer any injuries. Even just a head that could have hit the steering wheel was also not experienced. All she got was insults from the meatball seller she hit. Then with a limp, she got out of the car.

"You're driving while drunk, aren't you? Can't you see that my cart is ruined like this? Oh my God, Sis, what will I use for trading tomorrow morning if the cart is destroyed like that?"

The middle-aged man with a red hat and a small towel hanging around his neck crouched down, grabbing a few unbroken bowls down there. Laras herself has not said anything. She was just silent as he looked at the chaos caused by her actions.

Some raw meatballs that rolled into the gutter, bowls that were broken due to hitting hard on the road. The cart with the dark blue paint was also still lying on the road, not repaired because the owner was busy opening a drawer to get money from there.

"I change, how much?" Laras asked straight to the point. Honestly, right now she was holding back tears. Her eyes were already teary, but luckily the damn tears didn't fall like usual.

"You ask how much you have to pay without apologizing? Is that what your parents taught you?" The deep voice did not come from the meatball vendor. The man was still picking up the loose change that was scattered under there.

"Who are you?" Laras asked in a curt tone when a man appeared out of nowhere.

"You don't need to know who I am, all I know is that you hit the father and didn't apologize at all. In fact, you asked how much compensation you had to pay. Sis, do you think sorry can be paid for with some money? Teach manners?" The man who seemed to be the same age as Iwan asked in a firm tone. Like a father scolding his daughter for doing something wrong.

Shit, Laras just wanted to cry even more. She only added to the tightness in her chest. Because the stature of the man in the black suit reminded of her father.

"Hey, why are you silent? Let's apologize to this father," said the man. Laras could see the sincerity in her eyes. How she grabbed the merchant's hand to stand up straight.

"Sorry," said Laras. She spoke in a trembling voice. Just a little longer, maybe her sobs will be heard.

"It's okay, Sis. It's okay, don't cry. I'm sorry if I was angry with you."

Laras defenses have collapsed. She crouched down, covering her face with both hands. Muffled the sound of her sobs that could be heard clearly even though the sound of passing vehicles was still busy.

"Sorry, Sir. Sorry, I didn't mean to. Sorry again." Laras said while crying. She didn't dare to open her eyes. She still covered her face with her hands.

"Sorry, Sir. I promise I'll be responsible, but please not now. I'm scared." Laras sobbed. Until it looks like a man of Iwan's age is also squatting. Prospering her face with Laras.

"Why are you crying? Are you afraid of me? Don't worry, I won't jail you as long as you apologize." The man's tone softened, as well as his hand that gently stroked Laras' shoulder, which was shaking.

"I'm scared, Sir. Please go, leave me alone. I'm scared!!!" The man almost fell backwards because it was Laras who suddenly shouted.

"What's wrong with you?!" The man widened his eyes when he saw Laras who suddenly got up and squatted again in front of the overturned cart. She picked up the shards of the scattered bowl. Not caring about the blood dripping from her hands, the woman was still clinging to the broken bowl. From time to time Laras wiped her tears with her hands covered in blood.

This did not go unnoticed by the man who now could only stare at his squatting position. He patted his cheek, then took out a wad of money from his coat pocket. "Sir, this is for compensation for your cart as well as your meatballs that this child hit. Please leave immediately, Sir. Let me handle her."

The merchant just nodded with a sad face. He was afraid to see the drops of blood on his cart. Then after receiving a brown envelope containing some money, he ran out of there.

"Stop, hey?!" The man who was now beside Laras grabbed the hand of the crazy girl who hurt herself.

"Why are you doing this? Your hands are bleeding, but instead continue to clean this bowl. If you're not stupid, you should know that your actions are in vain. Come on, wake up?!"

"I'm Satya, if you want to say my name." The man who claimed to be named Satya interrupted before Laras opened her mouth.

"Sorry, Sir. I'm sorry, I'm going home first." Laras wiped her face with a hand covered in blood.

"Where are you going? Hey?!" Laras ignored Satya's screams. She ran quickly to her car. Turning on the vehicle in a hurry and then speeding away, leaving Satya who was still shouting her name.

Exhaling many times and then banging her head on the steering wheel is what Laras is doing now. Her eyes were still wet from the tears, and her lips were trembling from the sobs held there. Laras also glanced at the rearview mirror and found her face full of bloodstains in several places.

"Mommy?!!!"

TIN!!!

TIN!!! TIN!!!

Laras shouted as she pressed the horn repeatedly. "No, I can't die now." Laras reminded herself as a crazy idea flashed through her mind. To crash this car into a big truck that just passed by.

"Okay, Ras. It's okay, tomorrow Randi will come over to me and apologize for what he did earlier. He will also be responsible for the fetus in his womb."

"I can't go home in a mess like this." Then, she reached for the wet tissue on the dashboard. Wiping her face with the wet sheet of paper to clean the blood stains there. Also on her hand which still hurt a lot.

"I'll be fine, as long as I trust Randi."
