The river route escape

Sienna woke up at the sound of the rain. She opened her eyes and found herself in Sharchan's nest. "Did not I feel asleep under the mirror?" she shook her head."Doesn't matter, I'm still dressed. "She looked at herself and get out of the furry blankets. " Ahh, no, it is raining outside, that will be no fun to run in the rain, but on the other side, it might be harder for him to track me in the rain." she smiled cheekily."Let's go!" Sienna got ready and went to the river. The water in the river was actually warmer than the air outside and the current was very strong!

"I will try to swim away today, "she said. "It may give me a chance to go faster and I will leave no traces." she thought."Besides, I will be wet anyway," she chuckled.

She went into the river and let the current take her fast to the falls, then she get out of the water and climbed the falls down. It was slippery but not that hard, so Sienna felt quite good about herself. After she climbed the rocks down, she started to swim in the river again. She did not see Sharchan yet!

" Looks like this might work, I have a good time still." she thought happily swimming in the water. Suddenly something brushed around her skin."No, it is him!" her heart pounce wildly, but when she looked around, she noticed, the water was moving by itself somehow weirdly. It kind of looked alive!

Sienna suddenly saw hundreds of smaller water snakes coming towards her in the water!" Aaahahh," she screamed as the snakes came closer to her and started to brush around her body. Sienna was shaking and screaming, trying to get out of the river! She climbed onto a big rock, which was sticking out of the water. It looked like a tiny stony island, just big enough for her to sit on!

"Please don't come here, please don't come here!"Sienna cried in fear. The water around her was full of snakes. She hugged her knees. She was wet, cold and hungry. She felt like a total failure."I might just sit there and wait for Sharchan to find me." she sighed."I have no other choice anyway!" she laughed crazily. She was shaking like a leaf. Every minute she watched those snakes felt like an hour!"Do I give up now?" she thought, "No, I can't! Am I going into that water then? No way! It is no water, it is snake cocktail! So what I'm to do? I'm freezing cold." she kind of ask herself in her mind. "Just sit and wait? Wait for what?" she kept thinking."For him to find you. I might try tomorrow again." she bit her lips."Well, then I should just stand up and call him, no? At least I will be not freezing for long."Sienna sighted in her mind." But, you can't show him you give up!" her proud self was complaining."What? I'm pathetic anyway."Sienna shook her head."I will not survive here for an hour by myself! I might just well get eaten."Sienna cried angry tears. Sienna bit her lips. " I will not call for him." she hugged her knees tighter.

The huge snake was watching her from the land. Sharchan was coiled around the tree and was watching her. He was laughing much at her expression when she saw the snakes, but now he start to feel pity for her. He wanted to leave her there for a few hours, but decided to fetch her early, "It is no point to keep her there for longer, she might get really sick." he thought.

Meanwhile, the little snakes started to climb out of the water to Sienna's little rock. Sienna stood up in a panic."Sharchan, Sharchan, help me, please!"Sienna called desperately. She could not hold on any more!

Sharchan was already in the water when he hear her screaming."My poor little lamb!" he hissed to himself entertained."I'm coming to save you!" he swam a bit faster.

Sienna felt her tears coming down her face, she was stuck in there for what seemed ages to her by now. "What if he will not find me? I will be here all night covered in snakes!" she freaked out. Suddenly a huge snake coiled her from behind.

"Sharchan," Sienna sobbed in fear, "I'm so happy you found me!"

"Why are you running away then, when you're always happy to see me anyway?" he mocked her again."You were so loud today morning, I could not even sleep. Why are you not running away from me as you said? Did you wait here for me on purpose?"Sharchan was teasing her.

Sienna's eyes were full of tears." Please, take me out of here." she begged him pitifully.

Sharchan laughed, he hissed and the snakes swam away, they got slowly lost in the grass of the shores. He felt almost sorry for it. He was gathering water snakes for most of the night, just to make her this lovely surprise!

Sienna was very disappointed with her survival skills. Her body was trembling as a freezing scared leaf in the wind. She was not made to last in this world alone!"Can't you just kill me now?" she asked Sharchan desperately.

He furrowed his brows, "Why? You don't want to play anymore?"

" I'm so useless," she cried."You will eat me tomorrow for sure."

Sharchan laughed..."I will not kill you. I want to eat you alive...You will see..."

Sienna's heart sank. She was wet, cold and hungry and was fed up with everything.

Sharchan changed into a half-snake and picked her up. She curled onto his warm chest and did not move at all. "You don't protest today. Don't you mind me carrying you anymore?" he smiled a bit coldly.

Sienna just shook her head."I'm so cold."

"Wait, we will be back soon."He slithered fast through the water and the forest and bring her back to his grotto. Sienna was losing her strength. Sharchan saw her miserable look and made her a fire outside...the rain stopped and the sky cleared out.

Sienna sat next to the fire and felt really desperate. She wanted to make a smoke signal, so she picked up some wet leaves and throw them into the fire! The dark smoke raised...

Sharchan looked at her." Touch the wet leaves again and I'll tie you up in the cave for tonight." he said seriously.

Sienna glared at him. She was so frustrated, hungry and angry, she took off her wet dress and chuck it into the fire...the dark smoke come up, Sharchan look at her, "What are you doing? Are you trying to impress me?" he laughed looking at her standing there in her underwear!

"I will be not needing dress tomorrow anyway!" she hissed and put her hand through the flames. Sienna normally liked to play with the fire flames and now she was drenched and cold so she did it from pure anger. She felt the fire was almost burning her skin. It kind of felt good. She was too cold!

"That's true," said Sharchan coldly and took off the fire.

"Why did you take the fire away?" she complained.

"Because, I do not feel like killing people today, I had a nice day with you. If anyone will try to take you away from me, I will kill him on sight. You belong to me!"

Sienna stood shocked and stared at him."He is a killer! I'm dead!" she thought.

Sharchan went inside the grotto and brought out the light blanket. He covered shocked Sienna in it. He opened her bra from behind and she flinched. "Take it off, is wet. Do you want me to help you with that other piece as well?"He looked at her coldly and opened his hand."Give it to me."

Sienna was still frozen shocked."Please, do not destroy them, I really need these pieces to wear, to be comfortable."She begged him cutely all blushed.

"You said you will not need any clothes tomorrow anyway," he said firmly.

"Please just keep them safe." she looked at him.

"Hm," he nodded.

Sienna took off the wet knickers and bra and packed them into a little packet." Here," she gave it to him. It felt so humiliating!

He took it and squeezed the water from it. "Is drenched wet." he shook his head."He put the wet clothes on the rock outside. He came closer to standing Sienna. She held the blanket on her worriedly and backed off a bit. "Come here." He came closer to her and covered her tightly. Sienna did not dare to breathe when he touched her, he was so handsome but too cold and vicious, and she felt her heart hurt with fear."Get inside, you are not to get out!" he said to her. Sienna went inside and fell into her silky cushions, her face was wet with tears. She was properly freaked out!

Sharchan felt sorry for her but was not sure what to do, so he decided to follow his legacy. He ran that little weird clothes pieces under clean water and let them dry on the warm rock.

Then he got her some grapes and apples and he went deeper into the jungle for some bananas too." She needs more solid food," he thought, but his legacy told him that light food will weaken her faster.

Sharchan came inside and gave Sienna the fruits."Thank you." she stared at him a bit scared. Her heart thumped wildly.

Sharchan nodded and went outside, he cut long grass and brought it back inside. He started to build an even bigger nest, next to his old one.

Sienna calmed down and sit down on the cushion, she looked at Sharchan. He was preparing a big nest. Sienna was looking curiously.

"What is it for?"Sienna asked quietly.

"You will see tomorrow, "Sharchan said chuckling.

Sienna wriggled, "Is he going to sleep there after he eats me? Or does he want to do something else? It looks quite comfortable, "she thought

Sienna kept watching him. Sharchan grinned"Do you find me so interesting?"

"No "Sienna shouted and threw a silk pillow at him.

Sharchan looked at her seriously."Are you moving your pillows to my nest already?"

"So you can sleep well with your full belly."Sienna laughed hysterically and threw another cushion to his head.

"One more cushion and I'm bringing you over here now!" he said firmly.

"For what?"Sienna asked.

"You will see," he said dangerously.

"I hate that answer!"Sienna screamed but did not dare to provoke him anymore.

After a while, she shuffled slowly to him, still covered in the blanket, "Sharchan, I'm sorry, can I have my cushions back, please?"

"I give you one back," he said coldly.

"Thank you, "Sienna said and went back to her little space.

Sienna sat down at her space. She watched the snake build a big nest. He seemed to be working hard. Sienna eat some apples slowly, she was getting fed up with fruits and craved chocolate a lot. She felt really tired and weak that evening. Her stomach hurt a bit from eating not enough."I just want some chocolate!"She cried out loud.

Sharchan looked at her. "Go out to wash your face and get ready for sleep. You stay here, in my old nest. You look a bit weak."

"Sure." She stood up dizzily and covered herself discretely in her red cotton fabric. "Your meal will do as you said." she chuckled desperately and went out.

She went to wee quickly, washed her hands and cleaned her teeth with a banana peel, then she come back in and lay into his nest."Good night, Sharchan, tomorrow is probably the last day of my life."She sighed a bit worriedly.

"Don't be so sad, you and I will become one." he chuckled."Sleep well."

"That was not a good joke," Sienna sighed."And closed her eyes.
