4 Flower, Bird, Wind, Moon

Within Kaysie's dreams, he heard thunder. A thunder that echoed in the distance, rolling off the mountainsides. Near to him was the crash of waves on cliffs and the salty spray of the ocean winds. The sea was filled with anger, from within the black depths of the ocean there was an unspeakable hatred. It battered at the land, it screamed and roared and shouted its vileness towards Kaysie. It threatened to drag the young man down to its deepest chasm.

And yet the sky remained true. The sun bore down in warmth, covering the young man's skin in tender comfort. The clouds were a fluffed white, drifting lazy. And as the sea heaved, those clouds carried onwards in their drunken haze.

Kaysie awoke to the sound of wind chimes.

A man, seemingly Kaysie's age, shuffled at a desk near the end of the room. Kaysie watched, his head heavy, as the man's back faced him. His hair was dark and long, it fell down near his shoulders in thick dreadlocks. The man turned around and Kaysie's eyes met his. At first the young man seemed shocked to see Kaysie awake, then he quickly nodded and sported a smile.

He approached Kaysie, a tray of food within his firm hands. "Glad to see you're awake." The young man stated, sitting in a chair beside Kaysie's bed and placing the tray on a night stand. Kaysie's eyes narrowed as he assessed the person before him. He had a square shaped face and scruff facial hair, he was muscular, more so than Kaysie but not enough to be considered disgusting in the gangster's eyes. He had a classic beach boy look and possessed an air to match it.

"You done judging me? Holy shit man." The guest spoke before laughing.

"Right, sorry about that." Kaysie replied as he looked towards the tray of food; a brothy soup with crackers and an orange drink.

Noticing Kaysie's gaze, the young man took the tray then handed it to Kaysie. Graciously, Kaysie accepted it with a nod and placed it on his lap. "Name's Dotsu." The young man revealed.

"Kaysie." The Yamaguchi replied as he eyed the bowl of soup, not his first or second choice, but he was too hungry to complain. He dipped some crackers in the broth and began eating.

"Kaysaan Hiroji to be specific." Dotsu acknowledged. Kaysie glanced at him with sharp eyes. "You've been all over the news for the past few weeks, but the media is starting to call attention off you." Dotsu added.

"Oh?" Kaysie asked.

"A magnitude nine earthquake occurred off the north eastern coast, the waves hit a lot of places pretty bad. The news has been focusing on a nuclear facility that was jeopardized by the quake." Dotsu explained.

Immediately Kaysie dropped his food, he closed his eyes and rubbed his forehead. "Fucking hell, did Tokyo get hit?" Kaysie asked.

"Yea, but it wasn't as bad there." Dotsu enlightened. "I can get the news on for you if you'd like." Dotsu offered as he nodded to a screen mounted on the wall beside Kaysie.

"Don't bother." Kaysie spoke, opening his eyes and looking out the window. There were plenty of things on his mind, but in all honesty the only person he was slightly concerned about was Amy. However, he had a feeling she was alright, she and her classmates attended a prestigious school for privileged students from around the globe. Their safety would have been a priority to the people running the show. "Where's the old man?" Kaysie asked as the image of the easygoing Pete entered his mind.

"The boss took the girls over to Tokyo for relief work." Dotsu replied.

"Boss? Girls?" Kaysie asked looking to Dotsu in confusion. The new acquaintance replied with laughter.

"Boss Pete, and the girls I'm talking about are my childhood friends Yuki and Miyako." Dotsu explained. "The boss took the three of us off the streets and gave us a home, and he's taught us many things here." Dotsu added as Kaysie glanced at him, continuing to eat his meal. The young man who sat beside him appeared to have seen a difficult life. Whether it was more or less difficult than Kaysie's was not for him to know, and he wasn't about to ask.

"He teach you to dress like that?" Kaysie offered with a grin, gesturing to Dotsu. The young man laughed at the statement…

The morning air was crisp, there was a hint of salt from the ocean. Warm sheets of light kissed Kaysie's skin as he waded into the sea. The strain of water pushing against his legs motivated him to press further. He halted where the ocean sway met his waist. Slowly the young man inhaled, closing his eyes and opening his airways.

Kaysie lowered himself into a strong stance, moving his arms in a semi circle then presenting them into an ishinryu stance. As the waves lapped against him, Kaysie moved slowly and calmly. Displaying a profound knowledge of martial arts, turning strong arts into passive ones. Matching the ocean tide like a partner, Kaysie performed a morning waltz with mother nature as his mate.

The young man now sat on the vacant beach, his eyes gazing out to the glittering ocean surface. Six days had passed, Kaysie was already fully recovered. Never had he been so severely injured, and yet his body was already back to its previous vigor. As he had thought before, he couldn't die even if he wanted to.

Dotsu had turned out to be a worthy companion. A disciplined martial artist and a connoisseur of the world's more practical things, he piqued Kaysie's interest. As a student of Pete, Dotsu made Kaysie wonder, what were the other two like?

Kaysie had been aware of a slight hunger within him for a few days, however. Despite the serenity of this natural paradise, Kaysie yearned for the old thrills which comprised his life. He also had a yearning for a more base need. Kaysie laughed at himself at the thought, all this time and he hadn't been able to catch a noteworthy woman. "Oh well." The Yamaguchi spoke aloud as he stood up, brushed sand off his shorts, then headed back to the estate...

Kaysie was met by the sight of Dotsu sitting out on the front steps. Kaysie converged on him after trekking up the large driveway. He sat beside his new companion. Dotsu had an herbal vape in his hands, he filled it with crushed green leaves then pressed it to his lips. He exhaled smoke from his nostrils. "Not a bad day." Dotsu spoke, closing his eyes in satisfaction. He held the vape to Kaysie.

"I suppose not." Kaysie replied as he accepted the device then inhaled deeply, there was no effect to his person. Kaysie exhaled smoke as he handed the vape back to Dotsu. Dotsu took another hit.

Kaysie swung a pack off his back and withdrew a pack of smokes. Dotsu peeked one eye at him. "You really ought to give that up." The beach boy heeded.

"Old habits die hard." Kaysie revealed as he lit a cigarette and inhaled the monoxide.

"You know these vapes are plenty cheaper than constantly buying those." Dotsu said in a passive attempt to suede Kaysie, the two had been constantly repeating this discussion.

"You know I've got plenty to spare." Kaysie replied, same line.

"It's also plenty healthier."

"I've never been one to care for those kinds of things."

It was getting to be almost like they were rehearsing lines. At least it helped to pass time. Kaysie's attention was drawn towards the sound of a distant roar. That of a car's engine. "That's odd." Kaysie spoke aloud, looking towards the direction of the sound.

"What's that?" Dotsu inquired.

"Sounds like a car's coming." Kaysie spoke, the sound grew ever louder. It was a furious sound.

"Should be the boss, he called this morning and said he and the girls were coming back." Dotsu revealed, breathing smoke.

"Pete's driver wouldn't go that fast." Kaysie spoke as he heard the distinct sound of the car hitting a turn at high speed.

"You're probably right." Dotsu replied in a lackluster manner, taking yet another hit from his vape.

Kaysie watched the gates at the end of the driveway open. Within a moment a small dark blue Nissan had glided into the villa. It came to a stop a few paces away from Dotsu and Kaysie. Kaysie's eyes were wide.

"That's my 370." Kaysie spoke.

"Oh? Looks nice…" Dotsu said, his mind was somewhere else by now.

Kaysie rose to his feet as the door to the driver's seat opened. A young woman exited Kaysie's vehicle. She had a good figure, one that was complemented by a tight purple dress. Her bangs fell neatly by her browline, they were a dyed crimson which contrasted the natural black of the rest of her hair. She had intricate floral tattoos along her left leg and inching up her collar bone. Her breasts were large for her age, however, Kaysie could tell they were fake. She looked about a year or so older than Kaysie. The woman's eyes met with Kaysie's, she displayed a grin.

Closing her eyes she tossed the keys to Kaysie, who caught it with ease. "Not a bad ride you've got here." She offered as she walked past the two, her pump heels clacking on the pavement. Both she and Kaysie watched one another from the corner of their eyes. As fast as she had come, she was gone. She had entered the estate without sparing another word.

Pete's black Lincoln entered the driveway soon after the woman's departure. Dotsu now stood beside Kaysie. "Who was that?" Kaysie asked as Dotsu stashed his vape in a pocket.

"That was Miyako." Dotsu replied, rubbing his eyes.

"What's her deal?" Kaysie asked. Pete had exited his vehicle now, along with another young lady.

Dotsu sighed deeply. "Miyako's been through a lot." The beach boy revealed.

Kaysie looked down, dropping his smoke and stomping out the embers. "Haven't we all." The young yakuza replied before patting Dotsu on the shoulder and walking towards Pete…

Kaysie stood leaning with his back against the kitchen wall. Before him Dotsu and Yuki were sifting through a large bundle of groceries. Yuki was a relatively attractive young woman. Her hair was dark and wavy and her facial structure was narrow, she was a typical Kyushu girl. Her voice held a command similar to any strong willed mother. "Kaysie." She called out as she chewed on a piece of beef jerky and fumbled with a carton of eggs.

The Yamaguchi looked towards her. "Come help us with these bags, place these in the fridge please." She spoke. Kaysie moved towards Yuki and, after accepting the eggs, moved towards the fridge. Kaysie spent the next twenty minutes aiding in putting away the groceries. Kaysie paid mind to the way Dotsu and Yuki interacted with one another, also making note that Miyako was nowhere to be found since their brief meeting.

"Dotsu, here. I got that lunch meat you like." Yuki called.

"Thanks, babe." Dotsu replied, reaching for the baggie of meat. Quickly Yuki swatted at his hand.

"Save it for a meal, and don't use your bare hands." Yuki scolded. Dotsu met eyes with Kaysie, the two shared a chuckle.

"Look's like that's the majority of it," Dotsu began as he spoke to Yuki, turning to Kaysie he finished with, "we can handle the rest, man."

"Alright then." Kaysie replied, not sparing a moment to turn and head towards his room.

"Thanks for helping." Yuki called out to him, the young gangster held a thumbs up in reply…

Water inched down Kaysie's hair, his sharp eyes remained focused. The mirror before him was covered with a thin film of steam, distorting his own image. It had been a while since he looked at himself, for a long time now he had been avoiding his own reflection.

The film cleared in a slow, irritating manner. First to be revealed were his eyes, his glorious brown eyes. They were a brown so light that each detail was all the more visible, all the more handsome. Kaysie cursed his eyes. They were greyed and cold, lifeless. His eyes so easily projected the emotions he attempted so desperately to hide. They were rebellious towards their host, and Kaysie supposed that the sole reason was to spite him. It was like some kind of unoriginal, bad joke.

It wasn't long before the entirety of Kaysie's image was visible. His dark hair, wet and slick from his shower. His bare chest, decorated in dark ink designs and molested with scars and wounds. His muscles, toned and intimidating, all of the things about him were a testament to his former life. Or rather, they were a testament to his father.

It was impossible for him to look at himself without thinking of Hiroshi. Kaysie couldn't remember when he became consciously aware of his physical resemblance to his father, almost as if they were carbon copies, but now it was all he saw looking back at him.

He hated that.

Kaysie placed his hands on the countertop as he leaned forward, tucking his head. Closing his eyes, he inhaled deeply. He would always question why he had to kill his father. He would always feel the same way, that he had to. That he was justified in his actions, that his father had deserved to die. Yet, Kaysie would never be able to forgive himself.

He hated that too.

"You aren't how I imagined you would be." A voice spoke. Glancing in the direction of the voice, Miyako stood leaning against the doorway. She wore a towel wrapped around her torso, her revealed skin glistening with a cloak of thin vapor.

Water rushed from the faucet as Kaysie turned the knob, splashing cool liquid on his face in one fluid motion. He pushed his hair back as Miyako walked towards him. Kaysie wasn't really in the mood to deal with her, so he chose to keep his mouth shut.

"Not feeling talkative, that's fine." Miyako spoke in an even tone as she slid open the shower door. Kaysie glanced at her through the mirror, she was resting her back against the wall. Miyako noticed him looking, she smiled. Kaysie made to look away, before he did Miyako's towel came fluttering to the ground.

Kaysie's eyes were fixated on Miyako's naked figure. His eyes traced paths along her curves. It had been awhile since Kaysie was able to sate his hunger for flesh, and Miyako had more than enough of it to provide him. The young woman gathered her hair up behind her head and tied it back. After doing so she moved forward, pressing herself against Kaysie's back.

Kaysie glanced back at her as she untied the towel around his waist. Kaysie's logic was being overpowered by desire. "Why?" He muttered out, the only word he was able to bring voice to.

"Why not?" Miyako whispered into his ear.

Miyako took Kaysie's hand and lead him back into the shower...

Steam flooded Kaysie's vision as the sound of the shower water roared around him. Despite the noise, Miyako's moans prevailed. She was bent forward, her hands placed against the wall before her, using it to push back against Kaysie's waist. Kaysie clenched at Miyako's flesh, grasping one of her ass cheeks. With his opposite hand, Kaysie gathered up Miyako's hair, slick and wet, as he pulled her head back. Miyako's moans raised in intensity as she pushed back faster, the clapping of their two bodies colliding echoed around them…

Kaysie yawned as he exited his room. The young gangster sported sweats and a tank top along with a bag filled with martial arts gear. Upon departing, Kaysie motioned to put on ear buds that dangled from his pocket, however he stopped as a figure caught his eye. Yuki stood in the hallway, back resting against the wall, arms folded over her chest. She watched Kaysie with a calm composure, her face blank and unreadable.

Kaysie's eyes widened in confusion. "Need something?" He asked. Yuki looked away.

"Nope, nothing in particular." Yuki replied. Kaysie frowned deeply. For some odd reason he felt nervous, almost like how he would feel when he knew he was going to be scolded by his mother. Despite her words, Kaysie remained anchored in place, awaiting the impending lecture.

"Have I done something wrong?" Kaysie asked, his brow furrowing.

"Well, now that you mention it.." Yuki started before pausing. "I suppose you haven't done anything wrong, not yet at least." In an instant, Kaysie knew what she was building up to. "I know how Miyako is, and I don't blame you for playing along with her games, however let me offer you some advice…" Yuki paused once more as she stood upright, turning to face Kaysie.

"Don't get too involved with her, Kaysaan Hiroji. I know you're type, you use people when it's to your advantage, and discard them when you're done." Kaysie and Yuki held one another's gaze, each harboring a subtle intensity within them. "Miyako is like a little sister to me, take the games too far, and you'll end up getting played yourself." Yuki heeded.

Kaysie slouched his stance as he looked away, in doing so the tension within the atmosphere diminished. "I'll try to keep that in mind." Kaysie replied as he turned then walked in the opposite direction…

Kaysie descended a narrow flight of stairs, bound for the gym area of the large mansion. Before completing his decent, Dotsu appeared at the bottom. The beach boy displayed a sly smile. "Holy shit." Dotsu spoke sheepishly, extending the words in a playful manner.

"What are you on about?" Kaysie asked, nudging his way past Dotsu as he stuck his hands in his pockets.

"Oh?" Dotsu chuckled. "Looks like you live up to your playboy reputation, my dear friend." Dotsu snickered as he wrapped an arm around Kaysie's shoulder and leaned on him.

Kaysie sucked at his teeth. "Don't believe every damn story you read on facebook." Dotsu's laughter increased.

"Ho! Hit a nerve, did I?!" Dotsu exclaimed, continuing to snicker. Kaysie brought his palm against Dotsu's face, shoving him away. "Alright, alright. Sorry for teasing." Dotsu called as he waved before making his way up the steps.

Kaysie shook his head and smiled as he continued to his destination. After walking the expanse of a hallway he reached the double doors to the basement gym, Kaysie enjoyed coming here at night to work on the many punching bags. Pushing the doors open, Kaysie was met with the sound of fists ramming against the canvas bags.

Looking over, Pete was squared up before a bright red bag, his form that of a solid boxing stance. His hands rocketed forward in a blur with each strike, and without truly seeing Pete's hands move, a crash erupted and the bag before him shook violently. He wore a button up tucked into navy blue shorts which were cut off above his knees. Kaysie noted Pete's strong leg muscles, they were the core of his powerful blows.

The blind man's glazed over eyes, stared forward into nothing. His breathing was controlled and precise. His ears seemed to focus on everything around him, providing him with a truer form of sight than his eyes ever could. After a flurry of jabs Pete would await patiently, allowing the bag to settle slightly before he continued to rain blows. However, it didn't end there, Pete ducked and dodged, stepped left and right, forward and back. He sparred with an invisible opponent, one clearly visible within the blind man's world. Kaysie walked towards him, then gently lowered his bag before sitting on the matted floor.

Kaysie knew about tales and legends of skillful blind warriors, but to witness one himself was something entirely different. Pete's final blow came from a full pivot of his shoulder and waist, he extended his arm and held it in place. The bag unlatched from the hinges with the impact and soared towards the wall.

Kaysie grinned as the blind man stood upright. "Do you usually end your routine like that?" The yakuza asked.

"Who says I'm done?" Pete started. "Be a sport and hook that back up for me." The old man spoke. Kaysie rose to his feet and retrieved the canvas bag, it was heavy, a 200 pound class bag.

"How in the hell did you manage to unhinge this thing, pops?" Kaysie pondered as he strained while lifting and hooking the bag back to its hanging support.

"Brace against it, my boy." Pete commanded. Kaysie placed his hands against the bag and leaned in slightly, as soon as he did Pete sent a bone jolting jab into the bag. The material rocked and Kaysie could feel the impact travel throughout his body. Immediately Kaysie braced in further, pressing his forearms against the bag and his forward leg as well. Pete continued to release bone shocking blow after blow, Kaysie clenched his teeth as he placed all his weight against the punching bag…

The two sat down together after a long workout, Kaysie visibly more exhausted than Pete. "You some kind of monster, how in the hell can you throw punches like that at your age?" Kaysie asked as he caught his breath.

Pete chuckled. "Gotta start eating your peas and carrots, boy." The aged man replied. Kaysie laughed slightly at the statement. Pete slowly unraveled sports wrap from his arms as he spoke, "how long you planning on hiding out here?"

Kaysie's eyes widened. "What are you getting at?" Kaysie asked with a slighted fury.

"Don't get defensive. I brought your car back for a reason, no one is locking you up in this mansion." Pete explained.

"It's been a single day." Kaysie offered.

"True, still, I had expected you to have hopped in your nice little sports car by now and sped off towards Tokyo." Pete said.

"There's nothing in Tokyo for me anymore." Kaysie replied quickly, his eyes averting towards the door.

"Oh?" Pete inquired, Kaysie glanced at him. "Must be the Miyako affect setting in on ya'." Pete spoke playfully.

"For fuck's sake, does everyone know about that?" Kaysie exclaimed.

"Word travels fast my boy, even in a place as big as this." Pete chuckled.

Kaysie shook his head at the comment. Pete stood up and patted Kaysie on the shoulder before walking away.

Kaysie watched the blind old man. Pete stuffed his hands in his pockets as he approached the still opened double doors. Kaysie's eyes narrowed. "Wait." Kaysie called out.

Pete halted.

"Why are you taking care of me? Why am I not in jail, why am I not on death row?" Kaysie asked. Countless questions swarmed around his head, and Kaysie was adamant on asking each and every damn one until he got an answer to his liking.

"I knew your mother…" Pete spoke softly. All of Kaysie's thoughts were flushed at the statement, he stared at Pete's back. The blind man stood silent. "She was an exceptional student, unlike any before her and any who came after." Pete continued towards the exit. "I always told her to mind who she kept company with, least her kid isn't half bad." Pete finished before disappearing from sight.

Kaysie sat there, eyes fixed on where Pete once was. "Who in the hell are you to my mother…" Kaysie growled, his eyes swelling with anger…

A slight glow from the moon peeked into Kaysie's room through the window blinds. His eyes stared up at the ceiling as his mind wandered from one thought to the next. A knock sounded from his door. "Kaysie." Came Miyako's muffled voice. Kaysie paused as a few new thoughts entered his head.

"Door's unlocked." Kaysie replied. Light from the hallway spilled into the room as Miyako gently glided the door open. Miyako entered, closing the door behind her. Kaysie looked at the young woman as she approached. She wore a transparent mini nightgown that hugged her curves tightly. Kaysie shifted backwards as Miyako sat beside him. The girl seemed more than comfortable, she ran a hand through her hair as her gaze lingered towards the window.

"You plan on visiting me every night?" Kaysie asked in sarcasm. Miyako looked down at him with a slight grin.

"And what if I do?" She whispered as she slid under the sheets, shifting around with fluid motions so that she mounted his waist. Kaysie had encountered plenty of girls like Miyako, both of them were willing to play the game. They were both willing to offer their bodies to the other in return for pleasure, for a temporary escape from the reality each one was living. However, there was always a catch, someone would break eventually. That had never been Kaysie before, and he didn't see this being a start.

Miyako ran her hands over Kaysie's bare chest. Kaysie's fingers traced her curves, beginning at her waist, toned and firm, and ending atop her butt, plump and supple. Kaysie grasped at a tiny thong that hugged Miyako's ass and tugged upwards with it, with his opposite hand he pinched at one of Miyako's nipples. Miyako raised her head and let out a slight moan as she reached down into Kaysie's pants, then deciding she couldn't wait through anymore foreplay, she reached back up and slid Kaysie's boxer's off.

On cue, Kaysie tugged Miyako's thong off as the young woman, satiated with her lust, lowered her waist onto him. She leaned back as Kaysie entered her and she let out more pants of pleasure. Kaysie could feel a grin form as he placed his hands on Miyako's hips, the little vixen grinding circles on him.

Miyako smiled down at Kaysie, she lowered her head and clamped her teeth around Kaysie's neck. She sucked at his flesh as she began to lift and drop her ass onto Kaysie. Kaysie could feel his desires peak. Simultaneously, he clasped the back of Miyako's neck with one hand and held her tightly against him, with the other hand he grasped at Miyako's supple ass. Kaysie began thrusting upwards into her and as he did the young woman's mild moans turned to shrieks of pleasure.

The clapping of their two bodies meeting and separating ensued as Kaysie turned Miyako over onto her back. The blanket fluttered to the ground as Kaysie thrusted down into Miyako, her legs and arms wrapped around him. Miyako shouted and screamed with glee as Kaysie went about, driving into her.

A point came long into their act, Miyako on all fours and Kaysie driving into her and yanking on her hair, when Miyako's eyes rolled back and her body began shaking. Kaysie paused and withdrew himself from her, as he did an inner dam within her body collapsed and fluid came rushing out. Miyako's screams of pleasure soon followed, and once her body ceased shaking Kaysie entered her again without hesitation.

At the end of their act Kaysie was laying on his back, one eye closed the other looking down at Miyako. She held a devious smile as she wrapped her mouth around Kaysie, her ass wiggling in the air. She swallowed down every drop of liquid Kaysie produced, and after doing so, she snuggled up beside him. Kaysie took in a deep breath as he closed his eyes...

When Kaysie awoke, Miyako was already gone. The young man sat up in his bed as he scratched the back of his head. An alarm clock beside Kaysie's bed read 08:00. The room was dimly lit and beyond his window Kaysie viewed the grey sky and dark clouds rolling from the ocean towards the shore.

Last night was more intense than he expected, and yet his thoughts quickly shifted from his pleasurable experience.

Tokyo.

Kaysie had questions, ones that could only be answered by traveling back to the capitol. He yawned as he stretched his arms out by his side…

The young gangster exited his room, sporting slim khakis and a sky camo rain coat. Kaysie made his way down the hallway of the living quarters, Dotsu was exiting his room as Kaysie approached.

"Seen Pete?" Kaysie asked.

"Nope." Dotsu replied as he rubbed his eyes and yawned. Kaysie replied with a nod and continued forth. "Why, what's up?" Dotsu questioned after him.

"I'm taking a trip." Kaysie replied. The young man paused. Turning his head slightly to view Dotsu, he questioned, "have you seen Miyako?"

"Also no." Dotsu replied. Kaysie nodded once more before turning and walking away. He could feel Dotsu's eyes on him for a few moments as he departed.

Kaysie had wandered his way towards the underground garage of the large estate. All the while, the young yakuza seemed to be reluctantly searching for something. He now sat inside his sports car, his eyes fixed on the path to exit the garage. Kaysie could feel an odd sensation encroach around him. He couldn't identify what it was, but it was suffocating.

The lights to the garage flickered off.

Kaysie sat in complete darkness. And although he could not see what was around him, he felt a sudden flush of comfort. "That's fucking weird…" the young man muttered. Turning the keys in the ignition, Kaysie's 370 roared to life. As the garage doors were opening, the turbo injected engine sent the car exploding forward. Kaysie flew out of the estate, bound for Tokyo...

Kaysie nodded his head to and forth ever so slightly as lofi jazz hummed around his cab interior. His vehicle glided forth into the outskirts of the capitol. "Call Amy." Kaysie spoke to his phone, mounted on his dash. The young man's eyes scanned around tirelessly. He was wary to be back, he didn't forget about who it was that put him in that hospital bed. Kaysie's chest flared with fury. He had every intention to find out why the Inagawas were targeting him, and he was of a mind to kick some teeth in for good measure.

The phone went to voicemail. Kaysie's eyes widened as his attention was drawn to it. "Call Amy." Kaysie repeated, a slight of irritation in his voice. Almost immediately the phone cut to voicemail once again. "The fuck?" Kaysie spoke as he began to reach for his phone.

Kaysie's eyes shot wide.

As he sped under a bridge overpass, a black Porsche 911 was parked beside the road. Atop the hood sat a strikingly beautiful woman, sporting tight black pants with a green checkered shirt tucked into them.

Kaysie eased the brakes as he swiftly pulled a u-turn. Kaysie's 370z rolled to a stop beside the Porsche. "Took you long enough…" June greeted as Kaysie stepped out of his car, to which he chuckled slightly in reply. Kaysie took a spot on the hood beside June. "So you finally found the motivation to face your problems." June spoke as she shifted to cross her legs. Kaysie remained silent as he reached into his coat pocket. Lighting a cigarette to life, he placed it in his mouth, running a hand to push his hair back.

"Yea, guess my anger has finally overcome my self pity." Kaysie replied as he watched the passing traffic. June placed a hand on his thigh. Kaysie looked up at her, her green eyes were locked with his. Her expression was calm. Kaysie anticipated her to speak, however she looked down at her own hand. She seemed to hesitate before withdrawing her hand then turning to gaze forward.

"Yuuto Tekuchi." June spoke.

"He's Sumiyoshi-kai." Kaysie replied, June nodded her head. "What's so special about him?" Kaysie asked.

June turned to look at Kaysie. "He might have a thing or two to say about your recent problems." June revealed. Kaysie squinted his eyes as the words fell on his ears. June moved her hand towards her hair. Kaysie snatched her wrist.

The two locked eyes once more, the atmosphere beginning to grow heavy. Kaysie could sense the anger swelling within him. June nodded her head. "I'm here to help you Kaysie-"

"I find that hard to believe."

Kaysie's wielded his words as swift and sharp as his blades, June sighed deeply. "Get in your car and follow me…" June spoke. Kaysie watched as she looked up at him, he could identify sincerity in her eyes. Kaysie raised an eyebrow as he released her from his grip. The two entered their own vehicles, June pulling away and Kaysie following suit…

Kaysie stood beside June in an elevator as they ascended floors. Their two cars were parked outside of an embellished high rise apartment complex in Shinagawa of the southern district. They exited the elevator near the top floor, June led Kaysie down a large hallway. The area smelled crisp and the carpeting was lush. June unlocked a door leading into a massive penthouse floor, the expanse of the living room bordered with glass windows.

Kaysie shut the door behind him.

June walked over towards the kitchenette and Kaysie took a spot at the bar island. Kaysie watched as June looked at him briefly, she smiled then reached into some cupboards. A glass was placed before Kaysie, soon a large orb of ice was dropped within, followed by a stream of clear liquid. Kaysie watched as June took out a lime and held it over the glass, squeezing its juice down into the drink.

"Malibu on the rocks." June stated as she turned around and withdrew a bottle of wine that sat within a wall mounted rack. She poured the red liquid into a glass. Kaysie watched in interest as she pressed the glass to her glossy red lips, the liquid gently easing into a parting between them. Kaysie took a sip of his own drink.

"Nice place you've got..." Kaysie spoke, he was a bit confused. June placed the wine bottle down as she tilted her head, peering at Kaysie. "Hadn't realized ghosts needed apartments." Kaysie spoke, taking another sip. June giggled.

"Not a ghost, genius." June replied.

"But you clearly aren't human."

"Clearly not."

"So what are you?"

"You're only friend."

Kaysie's eyes squinted at the statement. June's lips curled into a slight smile as she shrugged her shoulders.

Kaysie rested his head against his palm as he tapped his cheek with his index finger. "So, Yuuto Tekuchi..." Kaysie started. June nodded. "What's the Sumiyoshi got in this?" Kaysie asked.

"Absolutely nothing." June replied.

"Tekuchi is acting on his own?" Kaysie inquired. June nodded her head as she brought her glass back to her lips.

Kaysie had run ins with the Sumiyoshi his entire life. In fact he lost a lot of brothers in skirmishes with them, as well as a good deal of money. Yuuto Tekuchi was a lieutenant within their ranks. It's possible he was tasked to deal with Kaysie for whatever reason, but June said the Sumiyoshi itself wasn't involved.

"Why would he be gunning for me without being ordered to?" Kaysie murmured.

"I never said he wasn't ordered to." June interjected. Kaysie looked up at her. Her vibrant green eyes were narrowed as she lowered her head slightly, drinking more of her wine.

Kaysie looked away and laughed silently.

"You say you're my friend, but I don't know a damned thing about you. And all you've been doing since I've met you is talking in circles." Kaysie exclaimed.

June nodded her head to the statement. "My name is June Orlov…" She started. Kaysie watched her as she stared at the counter top, a look of reminiscence on her face. "I'm...older than I look." June continued. Kaysie didn't know what the hell that meant. "My life has been a little complicated, maybe one day I'll be able to tell you more. All you need to know is that I am what you could be, what you ought to be." June spoke. Kaysie could feel his brow furrowing.

June giggled once more. "You're confused, that makes sense." Kaysie's eyes squinted yet again.

"There's no real easy way to explain myself to you, you're just gonna have to trust me for now. Ultimately all you need to know is that our goals align." June finished.

"Well...that didn't answer shit." Kaysie sighed. June's lips curled into another smile.

Kaysie locked eyes with June. Her hand rested atop his own. Kaysie could feel himself falling back into that all too familiar drunken spell, however, this time it was different. It wasn't like before when he had encountered June, it wasn't as strong, as possessive. It also differed from the excessive lust that drew him to Miyako. It was more subtle, almost tender. Kaysie looked down at June's hand as he tried to numb the feeling in his chest.

None of this shit was making sense to him.

Kaysie felt his gaze being tugged back towards June's glorious eyes. When they met, the feeling of longing had grown stronger. June's smile softened a bit as she nodded her head towards the cracked bedroom door.

"Come to bed..." She coaxed him. Kaysie laughed silently again as he closed his eyes.

"I'm gonna regret this..." Kaysie predicted. Kaysie's eyes met June's once again as she placed her palm against his cheek.

"No you won't, Kaysaan Hiroji." The woman spoke. Kaysie was caught completely flat footed. The vibe she gave now seemed nearly contradictive to the one she displayed during their prior encounters. June clasped her hand around Kaysie's. She moved around the bar so that she was now standing before Kaysie.

Kaysie looked away slightly as June ran a hand through his hair. She was very close to him, Kaysie could feel his chest growing light. June leaned forward as she rested her lips against Kaysie's forehead. Kaysie's eyes were wide as he held his breath.

Calm down, you bastard. Don't trust her. Chill! Chill! Chill! Kaysie yelled in his mind.

"Come to bed, Kaysie." June whispered into his ear.

Fuck.

Kaysie found himself climbing to his feet, his hand still within June's as she led him towards her bedroom...

Kaysie was laying atop June, deep within her. She held him close, her moans coming out with soft allure. Kaysie closed his eyes as he could feel pleasure tingle throughout his entire body. This wasn't just sex, this was something else to him. Kaysie nudged his nose against June's, she replied with the same motion. Their lips met as Kaysie thrusted into her with long smooth strokes. Kaysie could feel his tongue melt within June's mouth as she wrapped her arms around his neck a little tighter. Kaysie withdrew from the kiss as he looked down at her, she returned his gaze with those beautiful green eyes of hers. Kaysie was panting, sweat forming on his brow. June reached up with one hand, rubbing her thumb against his ear. The feeling of longing in Kaysie's chest had been replaced with something new; acceptance. Kaysie leaned in and pressed his lips against June's again as he closed his eyes...
