The most disappointing one

"Wesley, Linda, Jos close your eyes and don't open them until I tell you too".

Wesley? The man under the choke is our third in command?

Wait, close my eyes? I don't want to! I will watch this until the end. If she has to see this, then so do I.

Wesley groans but do as he's told, Linda does as well.

Are we seriously just ignoring the humongous man choking him right now?

"You" Allie points at him in a really rude manner, as if she was looking at trash.

I've never seen her be so rude to anyone, she can sigh, and act annoyed and tired at people but being rude? That's not something she does.

The man raises his head and smirks.

He stops choking Wesley and throws him toward a tree, his back making a crunching sound when he lands.

"So, you're the one behind this, I thought it was weird, the stupid alphas of the official packs might not know but the Rogue King hates rogues like us, the ones that know how to be a real wolf, a werewolf that knows the thrill of the hunt..."

"Shut up" I look at Allie's annoyed face "you little piece of shit" did... did Allie just curse?

The man looks baffled, yeah, I understand why.

She's a feeble-looking human girl with obviously no physical strength that completely cut off the words of a rogue strong enough to deal with the Rogue queen and our third in command at the same time.

He freezes for a moment, and I can almost see how he's processing her words, not believing his ears.

Then his face reddens and the veins in his jaw pop.

"You human scum! I'll tear you to...!!!!".

Allie sighs and shakes her head, looking at him pitifully.

"You talk too much" she interrupts him again.

Then suddenly that somewhat amicable expression disappears, and she smiles, a tight smile worthy of a demon, her eyes curve up making her look scarier.

The air around us roars, the mist thickens, and the leaves in the trees flutter.

"Unfortunately for you. I know how to enjoy a good hunt as well".

The ground starts shaking and cracks open in response, black lava-like shadows seem to fight their way out from those cracks and slowly legs start forming, then bodies, and lastly blood red eyes until we have 30 black dogs in front of us.

Vicious, angry, wicked, but more importantly hungry dogs.

"What...?" the rogue says, his pupils shaking, and the color leaving his face.

Yeah... I'm scared too, it's taking all my will not to run away.

"Run, wolfy, run. It will not be fun if the hunt ends quickly" Allie keeps that demon-like smile, her voice amused, like a child in a toy store.

The rogue doesn't need to hear her warning twice, he starts running into the forest, the dogs around us don't move.

30 seconds, 40 seconds, 50 seconds, 1-minute pass, and none of us moves.

Are we not going after him?

Is she letting him escape?

She might have acted like that, but she's been living like a normal human, this might be just a bluff to avoid fighting... but letting the rogue live could ruin our plans.

I should step up and deal with him together with Linda and Wesley.

"Allie... if it's too hard for you I can..."

'I can do it for you, you don't need to dirty your hands. It's ok to be afraid of taking someone's life'.

That's what I was going to say but before I can even continue.

She turns to the dogs.

"Go, tear him to pieces. Don't kill him, bring me your prey alive" Her voice is calm, and amazingly quiet but it's scary, really scary.

The demon-like smile never left her face. The dogs howl and run off in the direction the rogue ran off to, with every step they take the plants they step on wither and die.

Leaving a trail of dead behind them.

She leisurely starts walking in the same direction as the dogs that just ran off and we follow her, I know she told us to close our eyes, but I don't want to leave her alone.

Will Linda and Wesley be able to follow us too? They're hurt.

I turn to look at them and they're healed.

Da fuck? How? I saw them! They were heavily injured. Did... did Allie healed them? It can be done this fast?

Linda pats my wolf's head "Questions later, for the moment we follow" she says in a collected voice, no wonder she's the Queen.

She can keep her cool even in this situation that defies all logic.

I immediately shift to my human form and put on the clothes that Allie brought with her, I need to be ready to fight. Fighting in human form is better right now.

We keep walking through the forest, the three of us on edge, ready to protect Allie if something appears.

"AAAAAAAAAAAGH".

We walked for no more than 5 minutes when a bloodcurdling scream stops Linda, Wesley, and I in our tracks. Allie on the other hand keeps walking nonchalantly.

"We caught the running wolfy" she says with an amused but still calm voice. Her eyes glim with excitement.

The dogs walk towards us, appearing from the thick forest, two of them dragging the Rogue by the legs, I have to suppress the puke rising up.

He looks awful, the place the dogs are biting turns black and rotting, exuding a horrible smell.

One arm is completely rotted, his chest torn apart, his stomach opened, and his insides dragging behind him. His pale face quietly begged for mercy.

The dogs drag him until he's at Allie's feet. Her smile thickens.

Did you enjoy the hunt?" she asks the rogue, and he shivers.

"...ry" he says in a cut weak voice.

Allie tilts her head and waits for him to speak again.

"...rry" he tries again. Black blood oozed out of his mouth, with a rotting smell just like the rest of his body. "I'm... sowhy..." he can't even speak properly, his jaw is so fucked up and he's missing a lot of teeth.

"Fogive me... save me" he starts crying disgustingly "anytin... I wo anytin (I'll do anything)" He crawls until he's just a few inches away from Allie's shoes.

"anytin" he repeats "save me" he begs again with a desperate expression.

Allie's smile disappears and just looks at him with the coldest gaze ever.

Disgust, disappointment, and hate. The moment he notices her change in attitude he starts liking her shoes.

"Disgusting" she says "Of all the wolves I've met, you're by far, the most disappointing one" she keeps that cold disgusted face.

"Saaaveeeeee meeee" he cries louder.

What the hell did she do to him? We've tortured rogues before, I've done so myself, but none of them were so broken, they kept that defiance and fire in them... Was what those dogs did to him that painful? That bad?

"Sure" she says casually "I'll save you" she smiles tenderly and the rogue smiles with her, a ray of hope flashing in his eyes "but only if they agree to save you too".

"Wha?" the rogue's smile slowly falls.

"Dora Gray, Carl Johnson, Maria Lopez, Rose Winters, ..." Allie says name after name until she says exactly 30 names, and then she points at the 30 dogs. "If they forgive you, I'll save you".

The rogue's hopeful expression is nowhere to be seen anymore. He opens and closes his mouth over and over again, but no words come out. His face was stuck in a silent fearful scream.

"Do you forgive him?" Allie's calm monotonic voice asks the dogs.

The dogs' red blood eyes start crying, but there were no tears coming out but a black liquid instead.

They howled a howl full of pain, sorrow, anger, and thirst for revenge.

"NEVER!" an echo of voices shouts, filling what was once a calm forest.

"Tch" Allie clicks her tongue "how unfortunate, it seems you ran out of luck. Hey, you" she talks to the rogue "You're not getting out of here alive".

The moment she finishes talking, the dogs run at him and tear him apart, his painful shouts, his cracking bones, and the rotting smell fill the place.

Oh goddess, what the hell is this? This is horrible... I-I can't keep watching.

I'm about to look away when I focus on Allie's face, she has a stern expression, but I can see it in her eyes, the pain and sorrow hidden.

I force myself to keep watching until his eyes roll back, and his body goes limp.

Slowly something rises from his body, it's him... but not him at the same time, his fucked-up corpse is still on the floor.

So I guess this is his ghost? Is this what Allie has to see every time?

"W-what?" the rogue says startled "what did you do to me!?" he shouts at Allie and runs at her, oh shit! He's going to harm her!

"Allie!" I shout but she doesn't move.
