Sick of Expectations 1

At that night, at full moon,Una was in bed having dreams about wolves running freely in the woods,she felt free for that moment, but then a particular wolve seemed to be coming towards her and then suddenly everything went black .She woke up to find herself by the riverside naked, she was extremely shocked but the only thing she could remember was the crazy dream she had and nothing else. She heard noises coming in from the bush, she was relieved it was just the guards that had found her but the guards found it awkward that she was naked and couldn't even look at her.Back at the castle , every one was so happy and relieved to see the crown princess of Luna Uva,why wouldn't they be ?, she was practically their future. It was a long way to her room , when she got there , she couldn't believe what she saw . The window was open as if someone had jumped from it, and there were marks all over the wall, the bed , the sofa and seemed to be wolf marks .She immediately heard someone knock at her door.

Queen Ziana:knock knock

Una:who is It?

Queen Ziana:It's your mother..., I'm coming in.

Una : No no no , mom!

Queen Ziana was shocked to see all the marks in her room.By custom , every cub was to be able to go wolf at sixteen with the help of a sacred ritual but Una wasn't lucky, she wasn't able to transform at sixteen, she was eighteen now, she couldn't control her cub,talk less of controlling the wolf inside of her.When she saw the excitement in her mother's eyes, she couldn't bare to see her loose it.

Queen Ziana : Una, l knew that this day would come ,we must inform the king and your siblings later on today ok.

Una:yes mom.

Far from the kingdom of Luna Uva, another kingdom also ruled, a kingdom of vampires,Zaniah . A bit charming you might say but when they get hold of ,you won't last a minute, at least that's what legend says. It was located north on every compass and Luna Uva , South.

Damian wad lying in his bed comfortably, l mean what could he have done , he's royalty

Ms Liane:Damian,come downstairs for your breakfast

Navine: Who gave you rite to call my brother by his first name?

Damian: l gave her that now back off.Ms Liane you know you're like a mother to me since mother was hardly around?

Ms Liane :Yes l do Damian .You're mom did treat me like her own sister , it's the least l could do.

When they all at the table, the king made an announcement that the crown princess was to get married soon and that there was a match making ceremony to be held.How could someone live like that?

Navine:Dad I'm not ready to get married right now...

King Luciel:You are not crown prince, not anymore. As you all know, your grandfather just died and in his will, it was his wish that Damian be the heir to the throne which means you will have to find a wife .

Damian:I'm only eighteen l can't rule and l even don't want to get married!

King Luciel: whatever l say is final.

Navine:Excuse me l have to go out for some fresh air.

Damian ran after his brother and caught up with him.

Damian:look Navine l do not want to do this especially if you don't want me to , we can fight for our rites ...

Navine:No,I'm fine just don't do anything stupid .

Damian:okay then ,l will do this for the both of us.

Back at the castle , Una was super nervous , especially about having to face her dad.He has always been a little disappointed in her and it kinda just got to her.

Queen Ziana:Having thoughts?

Una: yeah

Queen Ziana:l am sure that your dad is going to be very with you once he finds out.

Anyway,how did it feel to let your wolf out?

Una:well l can't say much, because l can't even remember all that happened but it felt like freedom.

Soon, the time came for dinner and the queen looked very happy more than the person in the situation. She broke the news to them and they were all very happy , and Una sighed of relief. The king announced a party and a ritual to welcome her into their pack. Una always felt under pressure and sometimes would want to run away .
