169 168. A long awaited reunion

Eden went to class with a heavy heart. None of his best friends managed to dispel the gloomy mood that had taken over his mind. He had kept quiet about what happened because he didn't want to worry the couple who were probably going to give him argument after argument about why he shouldn't have sent his mate away and he didn't want to hear them.

No matter what people said, they couldn't truly understand because they weren't the ones who had to lose their mate if something went wrong. As powerful as he was, Glen could still die.

They hadn't seen how the witch's magic had nearly rendered their strategy ineffective. Deep inside, Eden was starting to wonder if his powers and those of Glen would be enough. Moreover, Light wasn't even the real threat.
