Red, it's everywhere, I'm floating in it. 

It's blood. I smell it, that copper tang.

Whos? 

I don't know. But the smell is overwhelming.

Is it mine?

No. There's no pain.

Then where did it come from?

I don't know.

I'm falling, sinking is a better word. It's so thick it's pulling me under. The Red, The blood. Deeper and deeper, its stench is all I can smell. 

I'm frozen in ..fear?

I can't move.

It's covering my body, my mouth, my nose, finally it covers my eyes. 

Red. It's all I see till I can't see that anymore, either. 

Now all I see is Black.
