18 Chapter 18: Everyone Is a Bounty Hunter

Zen asked in a pounding tone "wha… what are you doing?!"

Reina replied, "he tried to grab something he shouldn't from my body".

The guy that Reina was arm locking right now, asked for help "someone help me!".

Zen when near Reina and that guy to asked Reina to let him go, "Reina, just let him go. We are here to have fun, right?".

After Reina listened to what Zen said, she released the guy's hand because she just realized that her action would break their cover.

Zen when to the guy and apologized for Reina's side, "I'm sorry mister, my sister here is a little bit hot tempered. I hope after this you will not repeat the same thing, or me myself will break your hands".

The guy grew more frightened and went away from them while saying to Zen "alright, I'm sorry, please don't do anything to me. I promise I will not do that again!".

Zen wiped his forehead as a sign of relief, that they did not draw so much attention. Zen said "thanks God, nothing bad happen.

Anyway, let's go, I found something that may lead us to somewhere, at least. He asked us to meet him behind a restaurant not far from here".

On their way to get out from the casino, suddenly a big golden screen in the casino turned on by itself, accompanied by a loud and lively music. Everyone started to gather in front of the big screen with a cheerful face.

Three of them were clueless. Zen get near one of the strangers there and asked him "hey, what is happening?".

The stranger replied "oh you might be new here. Every week, there must be an announcement by the owner of this place, for a game called Bounty Hunter. Sometimes there is a new people, and sometimes there is the same people with the increasing prize".

Zen replied "oh, is like that". Three of them stopped for a while to see how the game is.

A loud voice suddenly echoing through the casino "Hey! Hey! Hey! Are you guys ready for Bounty Hunter today?!".

Everyone there was shouting, replying to the voice "yeah!".

The voice continued "alright! Here is the list for those who have their bounty increase!", while showing some random people on the screen, everyone kept cheering and clapping.

The voice continued "now, for the new bounties! There are three people!

First, This guy! With a bounty over 100,000 Xeno Dollar!" then Zen's picture while he gets out from the limousine when they first arrived there, was shown on the screen.

Zen said to their teammates "I knew it! That's why I feel like someone is watching us from the beginning!".

The screen change from Zen's picture to Kai's picture, while the loud voice keep commentated "next, we have his friends, this guy! Also, for 100,000 Xeno Dollar!". Kai was shocked "no… way!".

Then Reina's picture was shown on the screen, with the loud voice said "now we have this sweet girl! Let's not be too rough for her, the bounty I put for her just 70,000 Xeno Dollar!

Meanwhile three of them still shocked that their head get a bounty, everyone there started to stare at them, like a hungry lion looking at its prey.

Kai asked, "is the game started already?".

Zen replied, "I guess so".

Suddenly everyone started to charge to attack them.

Kai said, "damn it! We can see the exit door from here but it still far away and we need to get through these people to reach there".

Zen started giving order to his team, "listen here, we might be separate. Meet me outside once we get out. Until then, survive, don't kill them, they are civilians, they know nothing. If can, try not to hurt them, but that sound pretty impossible".

Kai and Reina replied, "got it!".

The first person tried to grab Zen, but Zen grab his hand and use his judo throw and threw that guy away. Meanwhile Reina style is different, she charged and run immediately to reach the exit door. When someone tried to tackle her with a bear hug like a rugby player, she used his specialty, which is mobility. She jumped through that guy and stomped him with her high heels shoe.

Kai who saw that, said to himself, "well she already hurt a person". When he looked at Reina, he didn't realize there was already someone tried to grab him. When the guy's hand grabbed his left hand, he panicked, and his body automatically move, twisting the grabber's hand until his body a little bit lower than the standing position, then Kai continued with a knee to the grabber's face.

Suddenly Zen scolded Kai, "I told you try not to hurt them!".

Kai replied, "don't just say that to me, say it to Reina too!

I'm sorry Zen, I need to ignore the additional order to not hurting them. You do not train me yet how to do that. Also, I think I'm going to charge for the door too, like how Reina did. See you outside".

Kai then ran, charging the door, like how Reina did. When there were about five people blocking him at the same time, he just used his instinct. He jumped and did a sidekick to the first person. Then while he still on the air, his right leg still sticked on the first guy's face, he continued do a bicycle kick with his right leg to the one who tried to attack from behind, hitting the person's head. After he did the bicycle kick, he knees on the floor, to absorb the falling impact. While he still on his knees, there was someone tried to attack him, thinking it was the opportunity, but the guy was wrong. Kai attacked the guy's knee, and when the guy is falling, he elbowed the guy's face. Kai stood up and continued to run, reaching the exit door. Kai thought to himself, "I can't believe I can do all those stuffs, just like how Zen did when my first mission with him. I think this is the improvement Zen said when he trained me. But I still need to practice more, this isn't enough".

Zen watched his team hurting the civilians and nearly reaching the door, and he said, "well I guess the additional order is pretty hard for them to follow, eh?". Zen with his high combat skills, he only uses throwing technique that will not hurt the enemies.

Zen took a deep breath and started to calmly walk through those people. When there was someone tried to touch him, he moved like water. Some people don't realize that Zen was already behind them, and some people don't even realize that they already on the floor, have been thrown by Zen, as Zen movement was so smooth.

Zen said to himself, "this type of movement does not use a lot of energy like striking techniques, but it needs to use a lot of concentration, as I need to control all my movement not to hurt them and prevent my muscle memory to move freely". From the other perspective, watching Zen from far, Zen will look like using Tai chi, Aikido, Jiu-jitsu, and Judo movement to them.

After tens of people Zen went through, finally he reached the exit door and saw Reina and Kai already waiting for him. Zen went outside and greeted them "sorry for late, I'm the only one… WHO'S NOT HURTING THEM!".

Kai apologized "I'm sorry Zen, it is hard to do that. Also, you have not teach me yet how to take down people without hurting them and do the smooth movement like how you did just before". Meanwhile Reina replied to Zen "I don't care".

Suddenly they realized, even when they were outside, people still looking at them.

Kai asked Zen "are they also playing the bounty game outside?".

Without Zen even answer the question, people around them started to charge to catch them.

Zen replied to Kai "I guess so", and they ran away from them as there were too many people to fight.

Out of nowhere, there was someone in front of them, took of his face mask and sunglass, and waved his hand to three of them, as a sign to ask Zen's team to follow him. Zen felt like he saw him somewhere before.

Zen said to his team "I feel like he looks familiar. I guess we can trust him for now. We also don't have any other option".
