17 Chapter 17: Entertainment Paradise

After finished doing their preparation by buying new clothes to keep under covered to make sure not to be recognized by the enemies, and packing their weapons, they finally depart to the Silika Highland on the next day. Zen and Kai were wearing suit, meanwhile Reina was wearing a glittery dress, and all of them were wearing sunglasses. They were going there by a limousine.

Kai was amazed "woah I never thought that the police department can afford us this much money to buy these clothes and rent a limousine just to solve this case".

Zen replied "nah, the police department did not even give us a cent. All of this was from me. This limousine, I borrow it from my brother".

Kai was shocked "your brother has a limousine? Who is your brother actually?".

Zen replied "don't worry about it. Now we just need to focus on our job".

Kai looked out through the window while making a sour face and said "yeah, yeah whatever. I'm just asking".

Zen smiled and tried to make Kai feels better "don't be like that. We are on your dream trip right now".

Kai replied with a scold "it is not a dream trip anymore! It is a trip to face death!".

Zen replied, "isn't it more exciting?"

Kai said to Zen "what are you? A psycho?!".

Reina suddenly voiced out with a different topic while holding a guitar bag to Kai "Kai, you will bring this guitar bag later".

Kai asked Reina with a clueless face "why we are bringing guitar?".

Reina replied "please, don't be so naïve. This bag contains my sniper rifle, and any other weapons that we might use later. If I bring the normal bag that I always use to put my sniper rifle, it might look suspicious. See, even you can't recognize it at first".

After a few hours, they arrived at the foothill, which being the entry for the Silika Highland. As the limousine was going through the place, Kai was amazed by how festive the place looks like, with a lot of funky decorations, unique looking buildings, colourful rides from the theme park and a lot of colourful lamps illuminate the place, that will never makes the place cover with darkness.

The limousine stopped, and the driver opened the door for them while saying "Sir Zen and Sir Zen's friends, we have arrived".

Zen with a serious face said to his team "remember, we just need to enjoy this place until I give the order to act, understand? Keep close to each other, it might be easier to listen to my order".

Kai and Reina nodded their head and said, "got it!".

They went out from the limousine with the most stylish way. As they wearing expensive clothes including sunglasses, they really look like they came here just to enjoy their time.

Zen on his way to enter a casino, but suddenly he stopped and looks at his surroundings. Kai asked, "is there anything wrong?".

Zen replied "nothing, let's just enter this casino".

They entered the casino and saw it was festive, full of games, from the slot machines to poker tables. Not just that, it is a three-story building, the current floor for gambling machines, games, and a dance floor, the upper floor are full of screens for sports gambling, like horse race, football, car race, and so on. The lower floor has a fighting ring, for people betting live to the battle. Everything that you can imagine for gambling is here. Even the decoration looks luxurious. The wall and ceiling are covered with crafted gold and diamond chandeliers. Kai was stunned and mesmerized by how luxury the place is.

Zen whispered to his team "alright guys, let's just pretend that we are here to have fun. If you can't act like it, just enjoy your time here for real. But if you get any information, tell me".

Reina and Kai nodded their head and replied, "roger that".

They split up. Zen went to a poker table to join the game, Kai went to the gambling machines section, and Reina went to the dance floor.

For an hour, they just enjoying themselves. Zen managed to win a game of poker and get a big amount of money. Kai always losing at every machine he tried. Reina attracted a lot of men to dance with her as she was wearing a very sexy dress and including with her beautiful face, who can resist?

At Zen's poker table, there was someone who just got bankrupted because losing all his money to Zen. The guy said "how can I lose? I managed to get the title King of Gambling here before!".

Zen replied, "if you are the king, then maybe I'm the god".

The guy was piss-off with Zen's answered and he replied with a furious voice "fine! I want a rematch! I will bet my watch!".

Zen just smiled and replied calmly "fine, I have no problem with it. But I just want to say one thing. Poker is a game of probability. The higher your cards rank, the higher chance you can win that round. But still, it is the game of probability, no matter how nice your cards are, there is still at least a chance you will not win".

The guy replied with an annoying voice "heh don't try to teach me! I have already play it for a long time, maybe before you were even born!".

Zen replied calmly with his smile keeps on his face "that's why, you finish your time gambling, I use my time studying statistics. Can't you see the different?".

The guy became more furious and asked to start the game "whatever! Start the game already!".

Because of Zen's gameplay was so interesting, he catches all the people around him to gather around his table and watch the game. After a few moments, he won the game again and everyone around him was clapping their hands and cheer for Zen.

Suddenly a male waiter put a drink on Zen's side while saying "here is your drink". Even Zen didn't order any drink and feel suspicious about that waiter, he just keep quiet and look at the drink. After a few second, he saw there was a card under the drink. He took the card and there is a writing on the card "your presence has been noticed by Greed's people. Meet me ASAP behind a Chinese restaurant not far from this casino".

Zen stood up and went to the one who he beat in the game and return his money. Zen whispered "take back your money and quit gambling. It is quite hard, but I believe in you. Go, use this money to build a better life".

When Zen just about to leave the table, Kai came up to him with a sad face. Zen asked, "why with the sad face?".

Kai replied, "I have lost all my money, losing it to all those machines".

Zen laughed and said "how can you lose to all? I told you, don't bring your bad luck here with you".

Kai replied furiously "shut up! Luck isn't something we can control!".

Zen smiled and replied "but I won all of my poker games.

Anyway, let's find Reina, I got a nice information that may lead us to somewhere".

Zen and Kai went to the dance floor searching for Reina, but they didn't need to waste so much time searching as Reina already make a scene by doing a wristlock to a man.

Zen asked in a pounding tone "wha… what are you doing?!"

Reina replied, "he tried to grab something he shouldn't from my body".

Zen rubbed his head because he was worried that his plan will fail and said to himself "what has she done? I hope this will not attract too much attention. If not, I need to change the plan".
