15 Chapter 15: The Dissolved Grunge

Seiji said "oh is like that. The fact is the reason why I am starting to make my own team was because I saw there was a big gap between rank A and S. The outcome of the operation you just told me, make it clearer. I thought there is no survival at first, but you keep your existence a secret after the incident. No wonder a skilful policeman like you never been promoted to rank S".

Sabela suddenly started to burst out with tears.

Seiji asked "what is wrong, Sabela? Is it because the story reminds you of your father?".

Sabela replied "more than that. I feel… guilty. The one who leaked about the mission plan was me!".

Those words shocked Reina, Kai, and Sabela's assistant, but not Seiji and Zen.

Seiji said while lighting up his cigarette "well, I'm not so surprise. It is a hard decision, even for me".

Sabela started to confess "Started with the great massacre happened to rank B, I'm the one who leaked the information about the attack.

But don't get the wrong idea, I'm not telling my father about our plan, I just warned him and asked him to be prepared.

That is why when the Chief was about to start the second raid involving rank S against my father, I immediately reject it. It made me more curious when the Chief don't even want to answer anything about the case.

So, I acted by myself to search for the one who did that. I paid a personal detective to work with me.

Zen started to stand up and said while smiling "well, it's ok. After telling my story and listen to your confession, I feel better now.

Maybe sometimes when we have problems, we just need to sit together, and discuss to each other, doesn't really need to fight and holding grudges".

Seiji smiled with his cigarette on his mouth and said "yes you are right. So now, do you want to get out from the void?".

Zen replied "I guess I will keep working in the void. Also, I have someone who still need me to company her in the void". Zen then looking at Reina.

Sabela said to Zen "yes I don't think you need to get out from the void just yet. You still have one problem because of me.

The personal detective I worked with is a total psycho. He will find those who are guilty as hard as he can, and he will never be satisfy if anyone who he finds guilty not getting any punishment. In that case, he will act on his own, so beware of him".

Zen walk through the exit door while saying to them and changing the topic "so, you guys want to eat something? Don't worry, it is all on me".

Kai, who is still lying on the floor with blood coming out from his elbow, from being shot by Reina, shout to Zen "don't walk away so casually! You make us like this, and all you can think of is treating us some foods?"

Zen went near Kai and Sabela's assistant and crouched to talk to them with a playful smile "I'm so sorry about that. Go to any hospital and send the bills to me, no matter the cost, I will pay for you guys".

Kai replied "what do you mean? Do you think that is enough for me to forgive you?!".

Zen stood up, walk to the exit door again, replying to Kai while laughing "yeah, yeah, I will train you more after this…".

Zen words suddenly stopped after he saw the librarian stood up in front of him with a shocking face after looking at the condition of the library with many of the furnishers being broken and two people lying on the floor with blood coming out from the body, making the floor red.

The librarian stuttering "wh… wh… what… happened to… this library?"

Zen also started to stutter when trying to talk to the librarian "library grandma… what… what are you doing here? Didn't your… shift… already ended?".

The librarian replied "I forgot my stuff, that is why I'm here".

Without the librarian said anything about the library condition, Zen started to say to the librarian "about the library… don't tell anybody else about this, please. We promised we will clean this up".

Everyone in the library shouted to Zen "WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "WE"?!".

Zen shouted to them back "I told you I will treat you guys some foods! If you want more, I can give it!".

After sending Kai and Sabela's assistant to the hospital, they came back to the library to clean up the mess they made until the sun started to rise, as the sign that is already morning.

Seiji sigh and said "finally, we are done".

Zen said to Seiji and Sabela "What else? Let's grab some breakfast!".

Both Sabela and Seiji replied at the same time "no thanks".

Zen asked while making a sad face "why?".

Seiji replied "I think I going to get some rest. My shift will be starting soon".

Sabela also replied "I also need to do some stuff to clean up what I have set up to take you down before. I need to meet with the chief and the detective I paid, to persuade him from hunting you"

Sabela then immediately walk out from the library and went to the Chief's office.

She knocked the door and heard the Chief's voice from the inside asked her to enter the room "come in".

When Chief saw Sabela, he greeted her "oh, Sabela, what do you want coming here so early in the morning?".

Sabela handing the CCTV footage tape from the Zen's incident and said "here, I come to return this to you. I stole it before. If there's any punishment, I ready to accept it".

Chief smiled and said "oh it looks like you already met Zen and solved the problem between you two".

Sabela replied "yes sir".

Chief continued "if that so, then I don't need to punish you for anything, as long as you learned something".

Sabela bow his head and said "thank you Chief. I will come back later. I still need to clean up what I have done. I need to go now, sir".

Chief replied "ok then".

Sabela went to meet with the personal detective that she paid and try to cancel the contract.

After all the talking that Sabela did, the detective became mad "no way! There's no way I want to cancel that contract!".

Sabela replied "But I can pay you more just to cancel the contract".

The detective replied "no, it is not about the money now. My principle is… All the guilty people should be punished! I want his head! I want every guilty person's head! Now you come back and asked me to forgive the target? It just makes me want to punish him more! Now Sabela, get out from my office or I will label you as a guilty person too and make you, my prey!".
