12 Chapter 12: The Broken Secret

"Zen, you are a quick learner. I guess we can call it a day. Come, I make you some tea" said an old-looking man with a tan skin and a long beard, while waving his hand asking Zen to come to him.

The teenage Zen stop from drilling his new martial art moves and run toward the old man while saying "yes, master!".

Teenage Zen then sit beside the old man and enjoyed his tea.

The old man starting to give advice to Zen "Zen, you are a smart kid, I believe in your future. I believe one day; you can save this country. Solve that one problem that arise since this country was first built".

Zen asked "what problem, master?"

The old man answered "I guess you learn history at school. Have you read about the owner of this land, Yilmaz tribe?"

Zen answered "yes. What with it?".

The old man asked "what do you learned about it?".

Zen answered "well, I learned that Xenokrates and Burhan Delvis, the leader of Yilmaz tribe, the owner of this land made an agreement to build this country on this land".

The old man said "I guess they not telling the story to the fullest. Well after the country started to arise, the deal was broken by one of them. I can't tell you more because I'm not at their place and see what happened. If I just follow my emotion, I'm just the same as all people from my tribe, the Yilmaz tribe right now, full of hatred, because seeing that the other side is wrong, and it will never solve the problem.

Remember Zen, when there is a fight between two side, it always be the first side thinking they are right, and the other side will be wrong, also same for the other side.

Here, I want to give you a lifetime assignment. Search for the truth. Look by both sides' perspectives and be the saviour to save this country and harmonise again this tribe with the other resident of this country".

"Zen, wake up! Here I bring the food you asked me to order" Kai startled Zen from sleep on books in the library.

Kai complained to Zen "you know that old librarian blocked me from bringing foods into here. So, I sneak the foods in the bag, just for you. You listen that? JUST FOR YOU!".

Zen smiled while rubbing his face and said "yeah, yeah. Thanks for helping me buying these foods. Do you want to eat with me?".

Kai replied "it is ok, I already eat before come to here. Also, I'll start my shift soon, so I don't think eating now is a good idea. Anyway, I got to go now".

Zen said "alright, thank you once more".

Kai walked out from the library, and he saw a blonde-haired woman with a police uniform, full of badges is walking with an assistant to the library.

At first, he didn't really care about her, but all sudden, he got a bad feeling about that woman. He turned his body and went back to the library.

Meanwhile Zen was enjoying his foods while reading a book. Suddenly a woman voice came from behind "Zenith Kwok. 24 years old. Unknow rank. The first mission was at a night club at 42 Ron Road, am I right?".

Zen smirking and replied to her "well, well. I never thought you will find about this, this early".

Kai running to the library again, and when he arrived, he saw the blonde-hair woman was putting his gun on Zen's head.

Kai shouted to the woman "stop! What are you trying to do?!".

Both the blonde-hair woman and her assistant looking at Kai.

Zen, who also known about the arrival of Kai, sigh and said to Reina even though Reina was not even there "Reina, shoot Kai and her assistant, this is just between Lieutenant Sabela and me".

Reina answered "got it" and shoot both of them on the elbow from a table at a far, dark corner in the library.

Sabela asked "why did you do that?".

Zen answered "well, this is just between us, we don't need outside people".

Kai while holding his wound, asked Zen "when did Reina come here?".

Zen said "oh, she always with me when there is no mission. We don't sit so close to avoid looking suspicious".

Zen turning his body quickly and hold the Sabela gun and keep it on his head "so, you still hold grunge at me because what I do to your father? If that so, so pull the trigger. PULL THE TRIGGER!"

Sabela started to cry and she shouted "shut up!" and tried to hit Zen with a baton stick but Zen block with his karambit.

They started to fight in the library. Luckily there was no people in the library including the librarian.

Sabela charged into Zen, trying to hit Zen with her baton stick, but Zen avoid the attack. Sabela kept attacking Zen but Zen just avoiding and blocking those attacks.

Zen said to Sabela "you know, I will never attack a woman back".

Sabela replied "too bad for you. So, it will be your corpse lying in this place as the result" and keep attacking Zen aggressively.

Sabela activated an electric wave, flowing on her baton stick.

Zen said "ok now this a pain in the ass. Remember woman, I still holding my principal not to hit woman. If I hit you after this, it just means I want to protect myself. My life is more important than that principal".

Sabela replied "you talk too much. The result is still the same, you are the one who will fall".

She kept attacking Zen and Zen kept avoiding those attacks. As Zen just avoiding the attacks and get pushed back, his steps suddenly been blocked by a table. As Sabela keep attacking him without any sign of stopping, he did a backflip to the other side of the table and move the table to become his shield. But the table easily been broken by Sabela.

As the electrical baton stick nearly to hit Zen's face, Zen with his martial arts instinct avoided it, grabbed Sabela's hand, and automatically backfist to Sabela's beautiful face.

Zen said "at first, when you come to meet me, the guilty feeling that I hold since the day I killed your father, overwhelmed me. That is why I asked you to kill me in an instant so that we can be equal without me feeling so much pain holding the feeling. But when you hesitate to kill me, I know there is something wrong.

So now, how if you we sit down and talk about it, or maybe you want to continue this fight. If you choose the second option, just keep it in mind, the fight will not be just like in the first half, as I found something… In here, I'm not the only one that guilty, isn't it?".

Sabela tears came out more, covering the angry expression on the face. She charged and tried to attack Zen. Zen threw away his karambit and started to do a fighting stance.

Zen avoided Sabela's attack and countered it with a roundhouse kick to her ribs. Sabela pushed back. Now it is Zen's turned to attack aggressively.

While Sabela still holding the part Zen's kick just know. Zen do a 360-roundhouse kick to Sabela's face until Sabela fell on the floor.

Zen said "you regret choosing the second option, isn't it? You shocked because I dare to kick you? What do you think? I scared to kick a Lieutenant. A woman? I can see you hesitate so much. Don't you want to fight me all out?".

Sabela sat on her knee and don't do anything, not even talking.

Zen said "if that so" then he lifts Sabela up and kneeing her stomach and throwing her on the floor again.

Reina from far away said to Zen "I guess that enough, Zen".

Zen replied "it will never enough if she doesn't fight me all out. What is the motive I keep my secret all this time?! What is the motive I started The Void if all she did was just crying and hesitate to kill me? The guilty feeling won't go! I think it might vanish if she beat me up until I can even stand, or the easy way, kill me!".

Sabela surprisingly said to Zen "if all you want is death, so I will give it to you" while holding a gun pointing to Zen.

On the moment Sabela about to pull the trigger, Commander Seiji showed up and hold the gun and disarmed it from Sabela.

Seiji said "I'm just here to know more about Zen's secret. I never thought I get two fishes in a catch".
