219 Witch Training, Day 2

The next day of training was even more intense. I learned how to trigger the talisman by using just my mind. And although I knew how to radiate power from my body and concentrate it in my hands, I learned how to control it more. I also learned how to create a shield big enough to protect more than just me. 

"Now, it's time we tap into your natural witch power," Auria said later that day. 

I raised an eyebrow. "My natural witch power?"

She nodded, smiling. "After all, your mother was part witch and part Fae, correct?"

"Yes, but she never used it." I sighed. "When I told my father, he said that my mother knew she was part witch and part Fae, but chose not to use her powers, and not to tell me. I'm not sure why."

Auria tilted her head to the side. "Probably because she knew how powerful you would be, combined with your father's lineage, too. Isn't he part vampire?"
