Dakota was waiting for me by his truck the next morning when I left for school. Dad had already left for work, so I locked up the house and headed out. 

"Morning, beautiful," Dakota said, giving me a kiss when I came out.

"Morning, handsome." I smiled as a thrill ran through my body. No matter how many times I saw Dakota, my heart still did flip flops when I saw him.

Dakota held the door open for me and then held my hand, helping me into his truck, and was in the driver's seat a moment later. "So, are you ready for this?" he asked, starting his truck. We were on our way within minutes.
