177 The World of the Fae

"So, do you think we should pay a visit to the Fae now?" Crystal asked. "It might be a good idea to let them know what's coming, at least."

I thought for a moment, and then looked over at Dakota and raised an eyebrow. 

He shrugged. "It's up to you. But we may never get the chance again."

I nodded. "Yes, let's go. It probably wouldn't hurt to see if they have any more Bloodstones, too, just in case."

Crystal looked around to make sure no one was looking, and then motioned with her head toward the back of the strip mall. "Come on." She walked around the corner, out of sighed. "Join hands," she instructed, and we did as she asked. A sly smile spread across her lips. "Hold on." Then she closed her eyes and then they popped open, glowing a bright red. "Lacus!"

Suddenly, wind rushed past and everything became a blur. When it stopped a moment later, we were standing in the middle of the forest.
