224 The Battle Between Good and Evil

"Lacus!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, raising my hands. Wind swirled inside the makeshift cell, but nothing happened. Disoriented, I looked at the bars, remembering that Crystal had melted them before. But then I realized that Zisaria must have had it rebuilt, and they looked stronger than before. My only means of escape was with my powers.

Then I thought of my talisman and held it. "Lacus!" Again, wind came up, but nothing happened. Then I remembered what Zisaria had done to Lucas and Brady, and I started wracking my brain, trying to remember what the spell was that Auria used to lift the curse and restore their power. I had been in the room with her while she chanted. Right now, it was my only hope. 

But as I thought of it, it wasn't my only hope. The Great Spirit had said that I could always use the talisman to summon Him if I need to. After all, I'm the one He chose, so I know He will come to my aid... if I only ask.
