76 Testing

When I woke the next morning, Dakota was already gone, leaving me to wonder if he had really been there in the night or if I had just imagined it. Since it was Saturday, I quickly showered and headed out to find Dakota and the other members of the pack to find out what happened to Mr. Wilson. I knew that they had captured him, but wondered if he could now change at will, or if he changed only when he was mad. Either possibility was extremely dangerous. After all, he morphed into a werewolf, not a wolf-shifter. If he was a wolf-shifter, we'd just make him a member of our pack.

Speaking of the pack, the only place I could imagine where they may be was at Raina's Uncle Carl's house. He was the only one who had a steel room strong enough to hold a werewolf. But instead of morphing into my wolf, I drove my car there instead, needing a chance to rest. If the pack wasn't there, I made a mental note to try Dakota's cabin next.
