161 Surprise Attack

As Mark and Crystal were leaving, Dad and Noah arrived with the tranquilizer guns. I doubted we would have another influx of werewolves, but it was better to be safe than sorry. 

Dad nodded toward Mark in his truck with Crystal in the passenger side, pulling away. "Please tell me that's not Crystal."

I nodded. "Yes, but it's a long story. She's turned from the dark side and denounced the Devil."

"Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it." Then he handed me two tranquilizer rifles and a box of syringes. "Be careful with these. I doubt if we will need them, but you never know."

I nodded. "That's exactly what I was thinking."

"Well, if you're okay over here, Noah and I are going to our pit." Then he pulled me in for a quick hug and kissed the top of my head. "Be safe."

"You, too, Dad." After Dad drove away, I turned to Dakota. "Would you mind getting the bait since Mark isn't here? I need to make assignments."
