152 Supernatural Mistake

"Take her down!" I ordered in the Pack Mind as everyone stood poised for the battle.

Dakota's head snapped up. "Are you sure about this?"

"Quite."

Then everything happened at once. Raina leapt at the werewolf, but it quickly deflected the blow, pushing Raina into a nearby tree. Then Lucas leapt at it, but the werewolf was strong, flipping Lucas easily over its shoulder. Dakota and I kept watch for more werewolves, knowing that the pack could easily handle take down one werewolf. 

Then Mark jumped at it, grabbing its head, and bent it backward, staying clear of its teeth, and then nodded to Raina. Raina ran over and ripped off its head, and Mark let the body drop and into the snow, now red with blood, and it morphed immediately into its human form. 

Everyone gasped. For lying on the ground wasn't Cathy at all, but the body of the man that Dakota and I had saved from Cathy while on the stakeout.
