186 Realization

Instead of staying the night, we said our goodbyes the Julien and Lacey after the meeting and headed back to Granby, knowing it would be a long trip back. Also, it was strange to think but we couldn't take too much time off from school, either.

"So, what did you think of him?" Dakota asked as we drove back with my father.

"Who?" I asked. "Julien?"

Dakota nodded.

"I think he is a very fair man, but I wouldn't want to get on his bad side." I looked out the window, watching the scenery pass. "I'm glad he's with us."

Dad chuckled. "That's a fact. You do not want to get on his bad side."

"I also like that he outlined the proper protocol for voicing complaints," I said as rain started coming down outside, melting the snow. "It puts us all on the same page. Also, I now understand the protocols and what's expected."
