241 Reality is a Matter of Perspective

All of a sudden, bright blue light radiated from my hands and into my father, filling the room. When the light died down, my father looked a bit younger, like he did when my mother was still alive.

"How do you feel?" I asked, hoping that infusing him with my Power hadn't done more harm than good.

He looked down at his hands, turning them over, and then looked up. "I feel good!" He rose to his feet and pulled me in for a hug. "Thanks, Jessie Girl."

"Dad, listen," I said, pulling back. "I'm not sure how long it'll last. I'll have to find out from Michael. But if you start feeling bad again, let me know."

"I will." Dad nodded.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. I quickly crossed the room and unlocked it, and Hilda and Dr. Cole walked into the room.
