173 Quiet Before the Storm

"You okay?" Dakota asked, sliding his arm around me. 

I nodded. "I'm fine," I sighed. "I just wonder why the demon targeted me. And if they're launching attacks at our school, we have to get those Bloodstones fast."

Dad walked over to us, looking down at his phone. "I just got a text message from your school. They're calling off school tomorrow to fix the damage that was done at the school today. They suspect gang violence."

Dakota shook his head. "If they only knew."

I tilted my head to the side. "Actually, Mr. Wilson knows."

"You told him?" Dad asked, his eyes nearly bugging out of his head. 

I shrugged. "Actually, he already knows about our world. He was initiated when he was a werewolf, remember?"

"Yeah, that's right." He let out a deep breath. "Do you think he's going to say anything?"
