92 News at Eleven

Even though I heal quickly, I still had to stay in the hospital two more days. But on the third day, the nurse had come in to check on me. 

A crease formed between her eyes as she looked at my wound. "How are you feeling?"

"Better," I replied, knowing what was coming. Since I heal quickly, the nurse will think a miracle happened. She will get the doctor, and then he would rule that, low and behold, a miracle did indeed happen. 

"I'll be right back." The nurse quickly left the room, and the whole scenario that I had imagined was coming into fruition. 

I immediately pulled out my IV and put a bandage over the wound. I had to get out of here before they called in the Men in Black and started examining me.

Just then, my father walked in. "How are you feeling, sweetie?" Then he saw the concerned look on my face and his smile quickly faded.
