"He's right," Lucas agreed. "Michelle, this is what's best for Millie."

Michelle stared at him for a long moment and then nodded. "Okay. Call me on my cell phone if you need us."

I nodded, pulling her in for a huge hug. "I will."

Then Michelle placed her hand on the glass and Millie did the same on the other side.

"Millie, this will work," Michelle said, tears filling her eyes. "I promise."

Millie forced a smile, nodding. "I know. I love you, Michelle."

"I love you, too." Then she let her hand drop and she ran up the stairs, holding a hand up to her face. 

Micah gave me an apologetic look and then headed up the stairs after her. 

Auria looked into my eyes. "Clear everyone out except for the girl and the Nephilim."
