191 Interrogation

"Where are you?" Lucas texted me as Dakota and I were pulling out of the school parking lot. 

I rolled my eyes, having no idea how much more I could take at the moment. "Just leaving school now."

"Now?"

"Yes," I replied. "Long story. What's up?" I texted back.

There was a pause. "Meet me and Brady at the cabin... now."

I nodded, even though he couldn't see me. "We're on our way." I clicked off and let out a deep breath.

A crease formed between Dakota's eyes as he looked over at me in concern. "What's wrong?"

I shook my head. "I'm not sure, but Lucas wants us to meet him at the cabin."

Dakota nodded, pushing on the gas. The truck shifted gears, going faster. "In order for him to say that, it has to be important." He turned the corner headed toward the cabin.

"I wonder what's going on?" It was amazing that they picked now to contact me. I was glad that we were leaving school anyway.
