58 Idea

Dakota shook his head. "No, the cabin's fine. I checked it out before we left this morning." Then he thought of something. "I wonder what Michelle's parents are saying about her not being home for the past few days." It was Wednesday, the last night of the full moon cycle.

I shrugged. "Well, she'll cross that bridge when she goes home." I smirked. "From the sounds of it, I think she's already concocting a huge cover story." Then I looked over at him, my eyebrows pulling together in concern. "What about the rest of the pack? This was the third day of school in a row we've missed."

He smiled. "Nothing."

"What?" My head snapped up.

Dakota tilted his head to the side. "All of their parents know." Then he shrugged. "and a few are like me… older than they seem."

I chuckled. Although I wondered who the others were that were older, I didn't ask. "Yeah, it's nice when your parents know. There's no more lying."
