We sat in the truck looking at the door of Michelle's house, until finally, I started to get out. "Well, the only way we're going to find out if he is the Seeker of Lost Souls is to talk to him."

Mark turned off the engine and got out of this truck, followed my Crystal. "Does Michelle know?"

I shook my head. "If she did, I'm sure she would have told me by now."

Mark sighed. "Then she doesn't know."

I knocked on the door and Michelle opened it. "Jess! What are you doing here?" She pulled me in for a hug. Then her smile faded when she saw that Mark and Crystal were with me. "What's going on?"

"Can we speak to you and your father for a moment?" Mark asked. 

"Why?" Michelle looked into my eyes. "Jess, is something wrong?"

I gave her a weak smile. "We'd just like to speak with your father, if you don't mind."

"Sure." She stepped back to let us in and then closed the door behind us. "He's in the living room. What's this all about?"
