201 Confrontation

"I should have just buried her body instead of sending it to Hell!" Crystal sobbed as Mark held her. "Now, she's angry with me, too!" She stopped crying abruptly and then looked up at me. "Jessica, I'm sure she's coming for your father. He has to be protected—"

"He already is," I replied. "Crystal, why did you send her body to Hell?"

Crystal dabbed at her eyes. "When I sent the demons and dragon shifters back to Hell, then she was sent with them. It was a collective spell."

"So, you had no choice," I replied, realizing something.

"No," she sniffed.

"Why did you send them to Hell in the first place?" I shrugged. "We could have just buried the bodies."

Crystal scoffed, dabbing at her eyes. "What? And have the humans see them? They would have freaked out!"

I took a step closer, narrowing my eyes. "Yes, but by sending them back to Hell, they could come back... and you knew it."
