228 Blood Moon Battle

After Michael left, Dakota and I morphed into our wolf forms and headed back to the cabin, unsure of what we would find. I hated that Michael left like that and was hoping he would be at the fight against The Sisterhood of the Damned… so we could say goodbye, at least.

"How are you doing there?" I asked on the way.

"We need you!" Mark yelled. "Get here fast!" 

In the background, I heard a demon's sharp keening that abruptly cut off.

"We're on our way!" Dakota yelled, pouring on the speed.

"How far out are you?" Mark asked as the sounds of screaming and fighting were in the background.

"Seconds," I replied, pushing myself harder. "We're almost there."

As soon as we got there, the clearing was filled with wolf-shifters, vampires, demons, dragon-shifters, hellhounds, werewolves in an all-out battle against good and evil. This was it. The fight for control of Earth, whether the Devil was here or not.
