7 Troubles on Andara

Tamika paced circling around the teleporter, „You okay?" Chrissie asked coming into the room, Tamika sighed, „No." She remarked, „What's wrong, Tami?" Chrissie questioned sitting down on the white marble floor, „I'm…I don't know." Tamika admitted, „I can't stop worrying." She added quietly. „Are you worried about them?" Tamika nodded sitting down beside Chrissie, „Did you try contact them?" „Martine said to not try for the next four hours, he's working on something, apparently." Tami explained pressing her head against white wall behind them.

„Is this really necessary?" Matthy asked his companions as they emerged from bushes surrounding their home, „We have to be sure, we're safe." Luis retorted looking at him, „But, can't we just return?" Matthy whined slightly, Dewey chuckled, „We won't be here long." He tried to assure him, „Yeah, just two or three hours." Jack stated ironically with an eyeroll, „It's like nice long trek." He muttered. „Stop being cynic." Luis growled lightly, „We don't need to hear your complaints!" Dewey added exchanging nod with his older brother, Matthy and Jack sighed and went silent.

As the group emerged into river clearing, something flashed beside them dissapearing into bushes, „What the-„ Dewey gulped the last few words as strong familiar scent filled his nostrils, „Quickly!" He shouted diving into the bushes, others close on his heels, „Don't lose trail!" Dewey called behind him while dodging low hanging branches and sharp throns sticking out from their tendrils. Suddenly out of corner of his eye he spotted black spot coming closer, „Slow down!" He yelled but it was too late, just as he broke free of the bush maze he came face to face with midcircle of wolves, soon his companions joined him panting, „What are you doing?" Luis asked, teeth barred, „This is our territory!" Jack barked. The group exchanged amused glances, „No it's not, you fool. You lost it the moment your beloved pureblood disappeared." A tall dark grey female mocked them causing others to laugh, „That's not true!" Jack roared ready to leap at her, Luis bit down his tail so he couldn't move, „We don't want trouble." He whispered voice muffled by Jack's tail, Jack took deep breath and let his muscles relax, keeping his claws out.

„What's wrong, afraid to fight?" Small black male taunted, „Not a surprise you're staying out of the Games." Dewey chuckled, „That's where you're wrong." He laughed forcefully, „We're in them." He stated flatly, „Let's go. Why to waste energy with those idiots." He muttered to Luis, the older brother nodded letting Jack's tail go, with that they turned around and crawled back through the bushes. „Freaks." The grey female mumbled signaling for her pack to go, „At least We'll have entertainment, Jet." The black male whispered causing her to laugh.

„What the actual fuck was that?" Matthy asked when they emerged back at the mansion, „Who knows." Luis shrugged, „What's wrong?" Meadow asked coming closer, „We met bunch of idiots." Jack grumbled, „And that's new?" Meadow asked with raised eyebrow, „These were different." Dewey stated, „They crossed to our territory almost claiming it as their own." He explained, Meadow's eyes widened, „What? Why? How-„ „They said, we're not pack so the territory isn't ours anymore." Matthy cut of her questions, Meadow frowned at him and turned her head away, pretending to be angry at him for cutting her off.

„Back so soon?" Lucky asked her bright eyes glowing as she exited her shadowy room, the scents of mixed herbs and honey following her as ghosts, „Hello, Lucky." Dewey said, the pale dark spotted female gave him nod in response, „Back so early?" Lucky repeated looking at Dewey's packmates, „We bumped into other pack." Matthy retorted, „Bunch of jerks." He added quietly, „Another one?" Lucky sighed causing the others to raise their eyebrows, „What do you mean by, another?" Jack asked, Lucky took deep breath, „Before dawn I was gathering stems nearby river when there was rustling. I thought it was just rabbit or deer, but a grey canine followed by apprentice crawled out instead. They didn't notice me, because I was upwind, but they trekked across the clearing and disappeared into bushes-„ „So Daniels wasn't alone!" Dewey proclaimed. Lucky tilted her head, „Daniels?" she stared at them, „So it wasn't an apprentice." She remarked to herself with a frown before returning into her lair.

As the group parted, Luis and Dewey transformed, „Daniels?" Luis whispered, „Yeah. He showed up down there, we catch him pacing around the teleport, we tried to fight him, but he beat us." Dewey admitted, „And managed to escaped." Luis voiced out loud as they walked into the underground part, „We didn't see anyone else thou." Dewey exclaimed, „Wonder who could that be." Luis shrugged, „Probs Samuels or that bitch." Dewey shook his head, „Neither Samuels nor Silveritta got grey shaded fur." He replied stepping onto the dirt. They walked the corridor, their comrades started to return down as well, some as wolves, others as their humanoid forms. „Something new?" Dewey asked loudly when the white marble floor appeared ahead, „Nothing." Tamika responded with a shake, „The only good thing-that idiot didn't damage it." She grumbled brushing the metallic surface with her fingers, Dewey gave her small nod sitting down on small chair, „Let's wait for Martine's call." He suggested, Tamika nodded lying down, „How was the patrol?" Dewey waved his hand, „Don't bother with it. Some jerks crossed into our lands." He muttered with narrowed eyes.

Soon Chrissie and Clair joined them in the room while others gathered nearby for small talk. Matthy sat beside Annie, Lucille's pale younger sister, and Zoey, dark brown haired teen girl, and started small converstation accompanied by laughs and giggles. Osmi and Johnny drew bars into the dirt and started playing tick tock toe, in whilst both cheated and were having great fun.

Only Willow stayed behind keeping watch nearby the ground entrance. Her metal blue eyes stared at the darkening night sky, ears twitching at the sightest sound. „I'm doing okay. No need for company." She stated as Meadow came near, „Just wanted to talk." Meadow piped sitting down, her dark ginger fur contrasting with Willow's tinted silver one, „You have others." Willow pointed out, „But I wanted to talk to you!" Meadow groaned. Willow rolled her eyes, „Silence is the best speech." She mumbled to herself as she layed down beside her friend.

„It's getting dark." Emi pointed out, „Go inside then." Martine retorted without looking away from the device. Emi looked toward the house, then at Martine, „But then you'd be lonely." She stated, „That's what I like the most." He replied still fiddling around with wires. Emi sighed and flopped herself down beside him again.

„Alright, I'm done." Martine stated, „For today." He added smirking as Emi's smile disappeared. Getting up he stretched his numb body walking back into the house, Emi flew after him, „Hey, wait!" she shouted.

When they entered the house, Martine fled into the basement, Emi wanted to follow, but he locked the doors behind him, angry she kicked the door before leaving. Padding into the lower living room, she found Kiki watching something, „Before you ask, it's the only watchable thing around." Kiki stated before Emi could asked, the winged feline nodded changing back, she threw herself onto the sofa.

Watching Emi leave through the keyhole, Martine carefully unlocked the door, before sneaking upstairs, „Where's Emi?" Aura asked as he climbed the last stair, „Downstairs, fortunatelly." He grumbled walking to one bedroom. „What's gotten into him?" Aura wandered out loiud causing Sly, who sat beside her, to laugh, „He's normally like this, sometimes even worse." She proclaimed between giggles, „Shut up, I'm watching something!" Mikey yelled from Aura's room, „Hope you delete the porn from history!" Aura yelled back at him causing Sly and herself to burst into laughing.

When the midnight came, the house was asleep. Aura slept in the kitchen, curled up on the couch, twitching and jerking, she hissed and growled as she relived the same dream. Suddenly she shot up wide awake panting she quickly glanced from one side to another, her fur spiked straight up. She stayed wide awake until the dawn showed up.

„Morning, sleeping beauty!" Aura called at Sly before yawning „Morning, Wolfi." Sly responded. Soon everyone was awake and sitting in the kitchen, „What's the plan?" Mikey asked glancing around, „Send Wolfi to school and then come around ten." Matthew muttered half asleep, „Sounds good." Simon shrugged.

The pack was dozing off when loud beeping sound shot through the silence, „What was it?" Dewey grumbled, „Text from Martine." Tamike remarked, „Everything's ready he says." She added turning the screen off again.

They would fall asleep again if not for Willow bursting to them, „What's chasing you?" Osmi asked, „Other packs, I just saw them, they're heading for Crystal mountain!" Willow panted urgently, eyes wide. Jack leaped onto his paws, „What are we waiting for then? C'mon!" He headed for the exit, „Wait! We don't know what they want there!" Chrissie shouted sprinting after him.

Osmi glanced from one companion to another, „Are we following?" Tamika nodded as she and Dewey got up and followed, the rest joining them.

Jack was the first to reach the dark opening, he slid into crouch and sneaked inside. He held his breath as voices echoed from farther inside, bouncing against the walls. Narrowing his eyes he stared into the darkness, but only soft light from crystal glow was all he could see. Stepping deeper into the darkness, Jack kept himself camuflaged, brushing against rocks and bigger pebbles.

„Leave that one to me!" Sharp laughing bark made him stop in his tracks, Jack dashed and hurdled himself behind closest spiked rocks, flattening his body on the ground. Soon enough two sets of claws scraped the rocky ground, „And MaxWolf won't be a problem?" feminine voice asked with little distrust, „That stupid pureblood bitch will be gone long before the end of show." Cold snarl came as an answer, „Get ready, we're leaving in the morning. And Fennel, don't disappoint me." Jack's heart went cold, 'Fennel?! Working against Wolfi?!' he was shocked.

„Don't worry, Railey." The female, Fennel, replied, „I want her gone as much as you." She added as their footsteps faded. Jack sprung into his feet and dashed back toward the mansion. He soon crashed into Zoey who let out a surprised squeak, „Quick! We have to head back and fast!" Jack yelled at her after getting onto his paws again.

Near the clearing he met the rest, „Hey, hey, hey! Calm down bud!" Osmi told him as Jack almost made him fall, „I can't calm down. We need to head back and quick!" Jack retorted urgently, „Why, something happened?" Luis asked, Jack answered him with short sharp nods, „I went into the mountain and I overheard Railey and Fennel talking-„ „Fennel?" Dewey asked cutting off his explanation, „Shut up! That's not important! Railey and Fennel were talking about murdering Aura!" silence stretched as he yelped the last part loudly.

Tamika was the first one to snap out of trance, she trotted back with Chrissie and Clair following her, „Tamika? Tam!" they called after her, watching their surroundings carefully. „What the hell are you doing!" Chrissie barked at her, Tamika twitched her ear, not taking her head of the ground, „Tami?" Clair nudged her slightly as they caught up at her, „Hm?" Tamika hummed glancing up, „What are you doing?" they asked in unison, „Searching." Tamika answered matter of factly with a shrug, „What for?" „The travelling crystals," she responded entering the cave, her paws brushed against each gap they could find, carefully tracing along rock hills.

„Oh no." Tamika yelped, as the last gap she could find was empty, „Oh bad!" She added, „Girls! We have to return!" she yelled at Clair and Chriss who stayed behind at the entrance. „What did you find?" Chrissie asked as Tamika dashed past them, „Rather ask what I didn't find!" Tamika retorted as they caught up with her, „The spare crystals are gone." She panted speeding up.

„Dewey!" Tamika cried bursting through the tunnel entrance, almost knocking away Meadow, „What's wrong?" Dewey shouted back as he padded out of his chamber to meet her, „The crystals are gone." She explained, Dewey's eyes widened, „You sure?" he asked worried, Tamika nodded, „I searched everywhere." She breathed out defeated. Dewey gulped loudly, „Ravens! Meeting!" he howled with urgent in his voice. As the pack slowly gathered around him, he glanced at Tamika for support, „We have really bad news." He told them swinging his tail as the group broke into rapid questioning, „Someone stole our spare Space crystals." Dewey continued as the discussion died, „We don't know excatly, who took them. But all of us can be sure of one thing, if any enemy pack was the one- Aura and others are in grave danger." Silence rested upon the pack when Dewey stopped talking, sharing concerned yet unsure and defeated look.

„What are we going to do?" Annie murmured after what seem like eternity, the silence fell onto them once again, „oh c'mon. We have to do something!" Jack cried, „We can't let our leader die!" he lamented staring at his allies. „What can we do according to you?" Tamika questioned him with blank stare, „Warn them of course!" Jack retorted padding closer to her, We can contact them and at least tell them, right?" he asked her with low voice, Tamika avoided his gaze, her eyes staring directly at her paws, „I'm not sure." She mumbled, „Martine cut the contact off to upgrade the porters on both sides." She explained in whisper, Jack lowered his head defeated. „I might have an idea." Dewey joined in, „We don't need the teleport, just the crystals. We can take the crystals out and create gate with them and then me and Marty can put them in once we return."
