Sisters

I told her the story, starting from the memory loss and finishing with the story my father told me when we found my mother's grave. Esme was sitting silently like a mouse and listening to me, then when I stopped talking, she just hugged me. I hugged her back, then put my head on her shoulder and closed my eyes. 

"It's so good to have someone to whom you can tell everything, except for your boyfriend of course," I said, then took my head up and stared at her. "What are you planning to do now, when your followers are dead? Would you turn back to the Coven?"

"No, I don't think so. If they told me my father was looking for me, we could talk and decide everything, maybe even save you. So, for now, I don't know what to do…" She looked in the direction of the fireplace. I put my hand on her shoulder.
