Chapter 6: Puny punch

Leo slowly opened his right eye to check the reason for the ear defeaning silence around him. Then, he immediately opened both of his eyes when he saw everyon's eyes were bulging and mouths gaped opened.

He slowly shifted his neck and his vision to the direction of their attention. When he finally saw where his fist landed, his blue eyes widened in horror and his complexion paled.

His punch landed on Heaven's left hand. She catched his fist with her left hand. Just using her ONE. FUCKING. HAND!

Was his punch that weak? 'No, impossible!' He put all his force and anger on that one punch.

Heaven tiltled her head innocently, she did not look in pain at all. "Leo, you didn't answer my question."

He absent-mindedly whispered his answer, "I-it's c-called a carpet, my lady--"

His words were cut off by Nichola's roar of laughter, followed by his entourage's snickers and whispers.

"What a puny knight! I knew you are a loser, but I didn't know that you are this weak. My pussycat's scratches pack more punch than yours." Nicholas grinned like a hyena while looking lustfully at the pig-tailed girl.

"Leo, is he your friend? I don't like him." Heaven cutely complained.

He vehemently shook his head and promptly answered, "Hell, no!"

Nicholas approached Heaven and put his hand around her shoulder. "Little mountain girl, even if you are dirt poor, I like you. So, you and sir Bellmark are now in first name basis, huh? Well, I don't mind if he already fucked--"

For the second time, Nicholas was unable to finish his nonsense as she already turned around and punched him on his face using her left hand. The punch was so powerful, his body was thrown in the air.

Heaven's body tingled as she prepared for her second strike. When she saw her target's body started to descend from the air, she ran and jumped high towards him and did an aerial cartwheel, hitting Nicholas directly at his abdomen. The force of his descent created a huge dent on the expensive floor.

Leo's emotional and mental state collapsed. His body trembled and he was unconsciously biting his nails off. Everyone in the hall was left speechless, no one dared to utter a word or breath loudly.

"That punch was from Leo." Out of nowhere, she started while walking barefooted to the semiconscious bully. "I've used the same force he used on his punch. I've measured it properly using my left hand. Now, tell me, was it really a puny punch?" Heaven calmly taunted, squatting in front of him.

Her statement earned another series of gasps and whispers.

"Oh my gosh! So, if sir Bellmark's punch landed on sir Nicholas' face the first time then..."

"Hmp! Serves him right! He was so arrogant. I really hate that pervert."

"Sir Bellmark's background and status are way higher than him, and yet he doesn't know how to show him respect. How shameless!"

"You killed him!" The pig-tailed blond accused her in shrill voice.

"Relax, he's still alive. Barely, though," she nonchalantly replied, as if she didn't just beat a man to pulp.

She calculated her moves based on the man's aura and life force. He didn't bother to hide his strenght to intimidate other people. A perfect example of a total asshole.

"Heed my words. The next time you and your people oppress Leo, I'll make sure you will have a taste of my right hand." Heaven ended her statement by tapping Nicholas' cheeks twice.

"Why did you have to kick him down?" a significant friend of Nicholas chided.

"Just because," she shrugged with a smile.

She stood up and walked towards Leo.

That's when the people finally noticed her true form. They all inhaled loudly in astonishment.

"H-how can that be? Look at how delicate and beautiful she is."

"Is she really that demoness earlier? How was she able to stop and throw a punch with her small and slim limbs?

"She looked like a living porcelain doll. Her dark eyes look so clear and bright. Is she using a lip balm and blush? Her lips and cheeks are so pink."

"I want to know her hair product? I bet she dyed her hair black. It looked so silky and smooth."

The never-ending whispers of appraisal came without pause. But Heaven was too famished to care.

"Let's go, Leo. I'm hungry." She called out as she started to walk away.

Leo snapped back to reality, feeling awed and distressed at the same time. He was awestruck by her heroic act and distress of what the faculty members would do once news of this commotion came out.

He looked around to check for something. Once spotted, he picked it up and chased after her. "Wait for me, Lady Fair! A-and please put your shoes on," he shouted.
