"Oh ho, there's the wand for you," Ollivander said. "That wand is quite powerful and loyal at that too. Take good care of it. A wand is only as good as the treatment it receives,"

Chris nodded although he did smile wryly as he knew that he's going to change his wand.

'System show me my status,' Chris said as Lorraine paid Ollivander.

"So how good is 16 magical power?" Chris asked while they were leaving.

-As you may know, how powerful a wizard or witch is not by how much magic they store inside their body, but by how much they can control in the area around them. The higher the magical power, the more magic you can control. While there is technically no magical power requirement to cast a spell, the effectiveness and how much of the spell you can control depends on your magical power. 16 magical power can allow you to barely cast beginner spells such as the Tickling Charm or Wand-Lighting Charm with minimal effect. When you start to practice casting spells or cast spells in battle, your magical power will increase which mean the stronger your spells will be. However, depending on the difficulty of the magic, you will gain different amounts of magical power. For example, if you cast the Patronus Charm 5,000 times, it will equate at least 100x the amount gained from casting the Wand-Lighting Charm 5,000 times.]

'Alright then. Let's do some comparison. What is Voldemort and Dumbledore's magical power?' Chris asked.

-Lord Voldemort had around 6,000,000 Magical Power at his peak before his meeting with Harry. Dumbledore has 7,500,000 Magical Power as of now. However, 1,000,000 of his magical power comes from the famous Elder Wand. Of course, these numbers may change such as if Lord Voldemort gets a hold of a better wand.-

Chris nodded after being told at the huge numbers.

'7,500,000 Magical Power... It's a lot, but it isn't surprising. Dumbledore has been practicing magic for decades and as one of the strongest wizards out there, it would be more surprising to not have at least that much. It is a bit surprising though how even without the Elder Wand, Dumbledore has 500,000 more Magical Power that Voldemort,'

-Do not worry Host. While 7,500,000 Magical Power is an extremely difficult amount to overcome, it is still possible especially because you have the System.-

'I know it is possible. It'll just take a while,' Chris said.

After getting his wand, Chris and Lorraine went back home.

When Chris went back to his room and lied down on the bed, he couldn't help, but think about the craziness of his situation.

'I still can't really believe this is happening,' Chris thought. He started to smile knowing that he will soon be going to Hogwarts.

'It's unfortunate I didn't get to meet Harry, but I'll have many chances to meet him at school so it's not that big of a deal,' Chris thought as he slowly went to sleep.

The next day, Chris decided to take a look at both the shop and the Wizarding Book. The shop was like the Amazon of the Wizarding World. It had everything from Dittany to the famous Veritaserum to magical creatures. Even a dragon was up for sale. Of course, the price was ridiculously high: 1,500,000 Galleons.

'Goodness, how long will it take me to earn that much. I'll probably need a business the size of Gringotts to actually make that much money. Well that does explain how they have a dragon protecting their vault though,' Chris thought as he simply went past the Dragon.

However, what fascinated Chris the most was the wand section. Like the System said, the wands shown by Ollivander were not very strong. Although he knew there were powerful wands hidden inside Ollivander's store, he knew that those would not be shown to him especially because of the existence of the System. He noticed that the Holly and Unicorn Hair that he bought was the twentieth wands shown in the Shop signifying that it was the 20th weakest wand. It didn't sound that bad until Chris found out that there were more than 100,000 wands in the shop. As he was just a slightly bit curious, Chris checked out the strongest wand.

While Chris knew that it was going to be expensive, it was much more than he thought. It was made up of Thestral Hair core and wood that Chris has never heard of and the price was sitting at a whopping 10,000,000 Galleons.

'System what's with the ??? increase in magical power? Even the Elder Wand's power increase was shown,' Chris asked.

-This wand is much stronger than the Elder Wand and it will be a heirloom for generations to come. Furthermore, the additional effects that also cannot be shown is guaranteed to make this wand extremely powerful. Comparing this wand to the Elder Wand is like comparing the most delicious food in the world to shit. Therefore, the price is at a 10,000,000 Galleons.-

'The elder wand was considered the most powerful wand in the Wizarding World... If that's complete dogshit compared to this wand then 10,000,000 might actually be worth it,' Chris thought.

After he finished briefly browsing through the shop, he went to the Wizarding Book.
