Fast Learner, Hard Worker

The second lesson went like this, the old man would draw something, then move the symbols around, draw an arrow between the two and then pronounced it. These lessons went on for a couple of hours. And once the old man looked happy, he left and told the two other people something. Then one of them walked in, it was a young woman, and said, "Come here please," Nimm immediately smiled due to understanding and said, "Okay," Nimm responded. The woman looked shocked at first, but then her shock turned into happiness as now she could actually talk to him.

So she asked, "Hi, my name is Melanie, and his name-," she pointed at the man, "is Tyrone, what's your name?".

"I'm Nimm Eindeguard"

She noticed that when he said his last name there was this sort of power behind it, and he said it with a weird accent that sounded like a combination of Celtic, Greek, and Australian.

She said in a childish voice "Wow, that's a cool name, now where are your parents?"

To this, Nimm teared up a bit and said, "I don't know," he wanted to say more, but didn't know how.

Melanie looked at the Tyrone who was with her with a meaningful look. At first, he gave back a hesitant one, but he eventually gave in. The woman smiled and said to Nimm, "Come with us, we'll give you a home to live in while we look for your parents,"

Nimm smiled and wiped the tears out of his eyes. His stomach then rumbled and he asked, "Can we eat something? those crackers and grape juice wasn't filling enough."

She laughed and said, "We can, my husband has to stay here for a bit longer, is that okay with you?"

Nimm nodded his head. He also asked, "I want to learn more too, so when can I learn next?"

Melanie thought for a while, then said, "We can sign you up at a preschool if you want,"

"What's a preschool?" Nimm asked.

"It's a place where young kids, like you, go to learn,"

"I wanna go there, when can we go?"

"When do you want to go?"

"Hmm, how about after we eat," he said, holding his stomach.

She giggled and held his hand, walking him towards the entrance of the building.

Nimm got curious about the building and asked, "What does this building do?"

Once she heard this question, she widened her eyes, smiled, clapped her hands, and happily explained,

"This is a church, it's where people known as Christians go praise God," when she said the word god, Nimm internally frowned. He remembered his mom telling him not to believe in any gods. But he didn't want to hurt Miss Melanie's feelings, so he said, "that's cool,"

They continued up to the weird thing that the old man said was a 'car', it was really cool to look at. So after getting in, they drove to a place called 'McDanold's' it had a fizzy sweet drink called soda, Nimm thought it tasted okay. It was too bad that they didn't have grape juice though because Nimm really liked grape juice. After he was done eating, he felt the dripping again, but this time it was just a slow drip, it was like raindrops. He felt a strange feeling to explore what it was, so he said he was tired, and asked to take a nap.

"Once we get home you can, in your new room," Nimm was happy to have a room but at the moment, he was more curious about the strange energy. They got home and Nimm started to actually get tired. Mister Tyrone was already there when they got home. The first thing he said was,

"So Nimm, do you want to see your room?"

"Yeah, that would be very nice, "

"Then follow me, " He seemed extremely happy to bring Nimm to his new room. They entered a very simple looking room, it was painted electric blue. And Nimm liked that a lot. The bed was freshly made with matching green sheets and pillow. Nimm walked towards the bed, got on it, then collapsed. He didn't sleep, but he went exploring the energy that felt like an anchor on his soul.

But on to a more important note, I don't know what to call this chapter, the content I feel good about, but the actual name... I don't really like it, so if anyone could help with that, it would be greatly appreciated, and when I update the chapter, I'll put at the top "Chapter Name made by XXXX" and when the novel becomes the most popular novel on the site (like that's gonna happen) your name will be there, immortalized in the depths of the novel. I plan to do this with future chapters on both novels that I'm writing, so when I'm chugging out chapters, there's a chance of you getting on that. I know that I sound cocky but, even if my views don't skyrocket, I want to have a good relationship with my readers, so participation in this would be awesome,
