"There are others?" I questioned with a brow raised.

"Not too much. Just Hindly," the crisp way she said it made it sound a lot more like Dindly.

"You don't seem to be from around here now do you?" She asked. I nodded subtly, obviously too interested on Hindly to say yes out loud.

"Who's Hindly to him?" The question came off to me as intruding. I don't need to know.

"His soon to be wife," She said lowly, conspiratorial in fact. My chest wrenched painfully inside my chest.

"How long have they known each other?"I continued to prattle. The living room seemed nothing short of a modern one with the huge LG television set covering half of the wall opposite the door. The two twin sette had their surface freshly pressed, signifying that someone had just lain there. I don't know... Maybe Hindly perhaps.
