In another dimension, inside a hospital room

There is war ahead of them and they are not the ones who had started it. Marvin stared at the women once again in contempt. 'How could have sent her here?' This question kept on eating all his brain cells.

She started to move around on the bed vigorously as if someone was hitting her.

"Hey, what happened? Are you okay?" Marvin rushed towards her and asked.

But he didn't get any response from her. Instead, her struggles increased and she started to bleed from her nose, ears, and mouth. Her blood was dark blue and had a pungent odor. The minute that blood touched the white bedspread below her body it was set in flames.

Within a fraction of a second, the whole room was covered in fire. Marvin pushed open the window fully and jumped out. In a few seconds, he flew into the sky with his batty wings and landed near Marcus.

"We are in big trouble. Her blood is extremely flammable and it burnt the whole room in milliseconds. She is more dangerous than us. We should get rid of her," Marvin mustered his courage and explained the situation while trembling all over.

"What are you blabbering? Have you gone mad after all these years?" Marcus mumbled near his ears and glared at him.

Before he lifted his head to look at the window, the tiny amount of smoke escaped the room but with a 'Puff' disappeared. He excused himself from the elders and rushed towards her room.

"Please, you must believe me, elders. I am saying the truth. She is … she can…" Marvin had just started to speak when Marcus returned in a dash and circled his arm around Marvin's neck.

He then closed his mouth with one hand and took him along with him, after he apologized to the elders.

"I am sorry, elders. I need to take him along with me to check if what he claimed is true or not." Marcus said and pulled Marvin by holding his collar.

"No, I am not going with you. To hell with you and your woman. I won't be the scapegoat this time. I will ask the elders to investigate this thoroughly," He screamed and tried to remove Marcus's hold on him.

"You, just shut your're as* and come with me right now. Or else, I would make sure that you would see the daylight tomorrow," Marcus warned him.

"I don't want to see any daylight at any time of the year. I will roam this world at night, so let go of me," Marvin shook his body to get away from his grasp.

"Fine then. Say that to the elders too. I heard that you were supposed to go back to the black forest to investigate the situation. I thought to put in some words to not let you go there. But looking at this situation, why do I even need to care about you, my dear friend?" He whispered and let go of him.

Without looking behind, Marcus started to walk inside the mansion. Marvin was stunned for a moment but the next minute, he rushed behind Marcus and put his arm around his shoulders.

"Oh! Come on now! What are good friends for? We just need to support each other's back," Marvin tried to get into the good books of him.

Marcus threw his hand away from his shoulder and said, "I thought you wanted to act against me and inform the elders to get rid of the woman I brought in. So, why should I be good friends with you?" Marcus asked him.

"How can you say that? We are friends for thousands of years and do not forget I am your only friend in this whole world. Other than me, no one likes you here. Not even the elders. They may agree with you most of the time, but the minute they find a chance they would not hesitate to go against you," Marvin said as if he was his only support, and if he let go of him, he would be alone without anyone around.

Marcus glared at him but didn't say anything. As he knew that what Marvin said was the truth. Isn't that why he decided to go to sleep forever.

In another dimension, inside a busy hospital room, a hundred-year-old lady was connected to a life support system. The doctors and nurses were standing around her and trying to revive her.

"What happened? Why were you so careless?" Her forty-year-old groom questioned the doctors.

Everyone present in that room knows that he was the one who poisoned the old lady. But no one dared to speak against him.

"We are sorry, sir. We will be careful from now on. It's our fault that the newly hired doctor declared the patient dead without examining properly. We will make sure to keep the madam alive as promised for hundred days," The chief doctor almost fell on his feet and begged.

"Just do as I ordered, you all will be given enough money that would last for your next ten generations." He ordered and left the room.

They all turned around and looked at the poor elderly. She was the richest woman in the whole world and her enemies were no less. Even though her skin was wrinkled and she looked sickly and pale, her power to survive was extraordinary.

She had been in a coma for a month now and anyone could see that she was trying to fight to live more years. When she was in her prime, she was so busy making money that she didn't even realize when she had turned sixty.

As she was already over her age to date anyone, she decided to adopt a child of her own. Due to her age, she was allowed to choose only an older kid.

But who would have known that the adopted son would bring disaster to her and the empire she built with so much hardship?

Once her husband walked out of the room, he pulled a young woman in her twenties near the door into his embrace. He kissed her deeply and the woman didn't resist.

"Mmm… mm…" Even forgetting the place they were in, they started to make out.

The newly hired doctor, who crossed them scrunched his face in disgust. When that man noticed that, he pushed the woman aside and lunged towards the young doctor.

"Aren't you the one who declared my wife dead? How dare you? Do you know who I am?" He squeezed the doctor's neck and asked.

The doctor with no effort, pulled his hands away from his neck and calmly said,

"I know who you are and I know why you want to show the world that she is still alive. But I won't let you succeed in your tricks and get what you want!" He warned him.

He shoved him aside and entered the room where the elderly was admitted.

"Dear, why do you have to let him live? He is nothing but a hindrance from the time, we admitted the old lady here." The beauty stood up from the floor and dusted her clothes.
